Penzance / Lamorna area
Lamorna is a quaint village located on the Cornish Coast. Described as one of the most enchanting & magical valleys in Cornwall, - Lamorna continues to attract a broad church of visitor throughout the year ranging from scuba divers to bird watchers, thespians to gourmands and botanists to ramblers! - whilst beautifully remote, you will be relieved to know that you are not completely cut off from civilisation!In the cove itself and just 100 yards from the cottage is a delightful cafe serving breakfasts,light lunches and fabulous cream teas. Further up the valley and only a short walk is the The Lamorna Wink. A traditional Cornish pub which has changed little over the years, the Wink retains a huge amount of character if not a little quirky in its management style! The Lamorna Pottery Cafe is another favourite where you can enjoy both the tempting array of food available and a wide choice of quality pottery. A recent addition to the valley is award winning Michelin star chef Ben Tunnicliffe who has taken over the Lamorna Cove Hotel restaurant. Open to non-residents, guests are able to savour the fabulous views from the balcony or take advantage of the swimming pool - perfect!
