Home description
There is a very special feeling to this pretty fisherman's cottage that invokes all those childhood memories of endless days of sunshine, blue skies, golden sandy beaches, sandcastles and a daily supply of yellow, creamy Cornish ice cream!
Dating back over 200 years, Arthur's Cottage has recently been completely renovated to provide a spacious and comfortable holiday home which is ideal for a large family or just a couple who require additional space. Decorated in white throughout and furnished in a semi ' minimalist style, the cottage has a very clean and fresh appeal to it.
Located on the Eastern side of this much sought after village and only a few steps to the sandy, child friendly beach and harbour, the house has far reaching views over the sea and St. Clements Isle in the bay.
Mousehole continues to be a very popular holiday destination (for couples and families) as this unspoilt village still has the ability to transport you back to the heyday of nocturnal activity, donkey wide streets and alleyways, Excise men, Smugglers, Rum running and the reek of black tobacco!

The West Country / Cornwall region
The West Cornwall area is a premier holiday destination and offers something for everyone. Take your time to relax and bask in the sunshine, enjoying many of the golden beaches that adorn the West Cornwall coastline or take a relaxing walk through the lush moorland or a more energetic hike through the clifftops which will give you access to amazing scenery and you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of dolphins playing in the Ocean.
Picturesque villages dot this area and there is always something happening in the summer months that range from local festivals to outdoor activities. There is an abundance of culture, heritage and spirit in this area. This area is also a must for shoppers with its mix of big name retail outlets and smaller eclectic shops.
Whether you are looking for an action packed holiday or somewhere to get away from it all, West Cornwall is an ideal destination for any type of holidaymaker.
Penzance / Mousehole area
Mousehole (pronounced Mowz-ul) is a hugely atmospheric old fashioned fishing port, with history and legends dating back centuries. Narrow streets, twisting alleys and a bustling fishing harbour make it a fascinating village to explore. The rugged Cornish coast is on your doorstep with towering cliffs and gorgeous coves. Mousehole itself looks out over Mounts Bay with views across Penzance, Marazion beach to St Michael's Mount, all the way out to the Lizard (England's most Southerly point)
