About the home

Living room with beamed ceiling and open fire, seating for four.
HD flat screen digital colour TV with built in DVD player.
Dining area with seating for four
Fully fitted kitchen with built in cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer.

Two bedrooms, one double and one single which can be converted to a twin with a second smaller bed ideally suitable for one adult and one child, or two children.

Bathroom with corner bath with power shower, basin and toilet.

Minack Theatre is nearby at Porthcurno where outdoor musical performances are held on the cliff edge by the sea, from June to September.

You can visit the Isles of Scilly by helicopter or ferry from Penzance.

The Eden Project is an hours drive away at St Austell.

All bed linen and electricity is included in the rental price. Apart from the open fire, additional heating is provided by night storage heaters and convector heaters.

There is a garden bench and chairs are provided for sitting outdoors. The harbour is only a few minutes walk from the cottage.

A refundable booking deposit of £100, which is also a security deposit, will be required when booking and the full amount will be due six weeks before the holiday commences.

The cottage is let on the understanding that it is for a holiday purpose only on the agreed letting dates. The person responsible for this booking must be over the age of 18 years.

Conditions

Weekly let during main season and school holidays from Saturday to Saturday arrival 2pm, departure 10am unless otherwise agreed. Short term lets considered out of season and start dates can vary.

DIRECTIONS TO COTTAGE


From the M5, take the A30 at exit 31 all the way down to Penzance. At Penzance take the B3315 road to Newlyn and on to Mousehole.

As you enter the village of Mousehole down the hill past the Coastguard Hotel on your left, you should bear left at the bottom to the harbour. This is a very narrow road, great care should be taken as it is two way!

After a very short distance and passing the harbour on your left and shops on your right, you should take the first right hand turning opposite the war memorial, bearing right up a small hill. Millpool is the first turning on your left.

Cuckoo Cottage is the last white cottage on the right with double white wrought iron gates and palm trees in the forecourt. Please park inside the gates to avoid obstructing traffic, which actually does drive on past the cottage, even though it looks impossible!

This journey takes approximately two hours when the roads are quiet. Unfortunately in the main season this journey time could be double depending on the amount of traffic.
