About the home
Pisces is located very close to Porthcurno and Pedn-Vouncer beaches with their white sand which is made up almost entirely of tiny, 30,000 year old seashells giving the sea a bright turquoise colour - one of the most photographed views in Cornwall and a location which has been consistently voted by travel journalists as featuring one of the best beaches in the world. Dolphins and sharks are frequent visitors to the bay. Whether you are enjoying a barbeque on the patio or you are warm and snug inside in the winter, this beautifully appointed property will not disappoint whatever the season.
If you are feeling energetic, the South West Coastal Path is a five minute walk away and there is free use of the tennis courts opposite. The spectacular open air Minack Theatre, which uses the ocean as a backdrop, will take your breath away. Porthcurno has a Post Office and stores and a beach cafe serving cream teas and fresh crab sandwiches. At one time, Cable & Wireless operated the largest submarine cable station from Porthcurno and a visit to the museum to see the underground tunnels and operations rooms frozen in time, is a must. The Logan Rock pub is a five minute drive or twenty minute walk across the cliffs.

The immediate area is set within an Area of Outstanding National Beauty. It boasts a stunning coastline, white sand beaches, unspoilt fishing villages, sheltered coves, rugged moorland, and; warmed by the Gulf Stream, a mild climate.
Escape the hustle and bustle and indulge in watersports, walking the coastal path, birdwatching, the lively arts scene, visiting sub-tropical gardens and eating fabulous food. Wonder at England's most westerly point, Land's End, enjoy a performance at the Minack Theatre or venture across the causeway to St. Michael's Mount. Choose to do everything or nothing!
The Penzance / Porthcurno area
The Minack Theatre, St. Michael's Mount, the Tate Modern at St. Ives, the Telegraph Museum at Porthcurno and Land's End are just a few of the attractions in the immediate area. The Golowan Festival which takes place at the end of June in Penzance and the Lafrowda Festival which takes place in St. Just in July are spectacular events, well worth a visit.
