Penthouse 4 is situated at the bottom of historic Chapel Street, with its eclectic mix of restaurants, bars, antique, bric - a-bac and art shops. The apartment has stunning panoramic views over the town, the harbour, the hamlet of Gulval and onto the beautiful beaches of Marazion and St Michaels Mount. On a clear day you can even see the Lizard which can all be viewed from the lounge and balcony. The apartment is also within a five minute walk of the town centre, sea front and the magnificent Art Deco open air Jubilee Pool. The beach pathway leading onto Long Rock and Marazion Beach and onto St Michaels Mount is only a ten / fifteen minute walk away from the apartment.

From Penzance harbour you can also benefit from the famous Scillion Steamship Ferry Link to the Isles of Scilly also pleasure boats, fishing trips, diving trips all along the coast. Penzance Sailing Club and facilities are only a short distance away. Guests can also benefit from a 10% discount on meals taken in the owners 'boatshed' restaurant on the sea front.

The Cornwall region

This far west is blessed with one of the mildest climates in the country. The first spring daffodils are picked on the Isles of Scilly each year. Here we are also steeped in history, from shipwrecks and sunken treasure to ancient monuments and amazing historic buildings! Lands End is a stone's throw away with its rugged cliffs and tales of mystery of the lost 'Land of Lyonnesse' buried under the waves.The sea is all around with coves and cliffs at every turn.

Penzance

Penzance is a busy market town in its own right, but not far away you have the city of Truro and the sailing capital Falmouth, each have main high street shops to cater for your shopping needs. Fabulous beaches are everywhere including Sennen, Praa Sands, Marazion and St Ives which is an magnet for artists as the home of the Tate Gallery, as is Newlyn with Newlyn School of Art. The Eden Project is 3/4 hour drive away and is a must.

We have lots of Interesting National Trust properties including the famous St Michael's Mount (described as the jewel in Cornwall's crown) and Lanhydrock House. Penzance also has its own Golowan festival 'Mazey Day' at the end of June. You can take a day trip to the Isles of Scilly on 'The Scillonian'. The terminal and ticket office is just 300 metres away.

"Very good quality apartment, very nice landlord"

The flat was in very good condition when we were there. There were two bedrooms one with a double bed and another with a double bed and a single bed. There was a spacious living room upstairs fully equipped with TV and DVD player overlooking the harbour.

The heating was perfect.

We had a problem with a shower and the landlord came and fixed it while we were out and when we came back, everything was sorted.
The landlord was easy to reach and he just lived next door so it was really easy to contact him when something happened.

I would really recommend this to anyone.
It's really good value for money as well!
