The top floor accommodation comprises of a fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezer, double oven and induction hob and washer/dryer. There is a large lounge / dining room, lounge has 3 seater and 2 seater sofas both with luxury recline function and underfloor heating. There is a large dining table that will seat 6 plus a high-chair, this room has patio doors which lead on to the private balcony.
The lower floor has one double bedroom, one twin room which can be converted to a super-king size bed if required, both rooms have beautiful views of the Bay. The third bedroom has bunk beds and a cot is available. The bathroom has a bath with electric shower and shaver point. All the rooms feature large wardrobe/closet space. This apartment has all the amenities that you could need for a great memorable holiday in the south west.
This apartment offers the perfect accommodation for a holiday in a place of spectacular natural beauty. From the apartment, step outside the front door and you are on the promenade, if you turn right you can walk past Wherrytown beach and will find yourselves in Newlyn an old fishing village, with a large fishing harbour and busy fish market. If you continue on from Newlyn along the coastal footpaths you will come to Mousehole, a beautiful Cornish harbour village, with a sandy harbour beach perfect for building sandcastles.
If you decide to turn left from the apartment you can stroll along Penzance Promenade taking in the fresh sea air and scenery, you will then arrive at Jubilee Pool, a stunning white art deco seawater lido set against the backdrop of Mounts Bay.
Continue along and you will find Penzance harbour where the Scillonian ferry sets sail for the Isles of Scilly, located 20 miles south west of Penzance. From here a short walk up the historic Chapel Street and you are in the heart of the old Market town of Penzance.
For those visitors with children there are three children's play areas, basketball courts, tennis courts and a skate park all within easy walking distance of the apartment.

The West Country / Cornwall region


West Cornwall's rugged coast and superb beaches make this an ideal location for those who love the outdoor life. Surfing beaches nearby include Sennen, Gwenver and Pra Sands, whilst those just looking for somewhere to relax will enjoy the crystal clear water and white sands of Porthcurno and Pedn Vounder. If you want to explore further there a many hidden coves dotted around the coastline.
Walkers can explore the South West Coast Path which runs around the whole of this region, and for those who just want to relax and not do anything too strenuous, there are some superb restaurants where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch and just admire the views.
The Penzance area
Penzance is host to the wonderfully colourful Golowan Festival which usually takes place during the last week June, the festival is 1 week long, on the final Saturday the town comes alive with the Mazey Day celebrations. Other local spring and summer festivals include, Lafroda Day in St Just, Flora Day in Helston and Newlyn Fish Festival to mention just a few.
Penzance town has a great selection of shops if you want to do some bargain hunting or are looking for those special holiday mementos to take home. There are many restaurants to choose from, or if you would rather eat in you will find a butchers selling high quality local meats, greengrocers selling locally grown produce, bakeries galore and of course fishmongers selling fresh Newlyn Fish.
If you fancy a walk from Penzance, two mile walk on the coastal path will take you to Marazion, the ancient village which is home to St Michaels Mount, a tidal island with a spectacular castle and gardens to explore, a wonderful and unique place to visit.
If you want to venture further a field you will have many beautiful beaches with white sands and crystal aquamarine sea to choose from, magnificent coastal cliff walks, moor lands, tin mines, ancient stone circles and so much more all within 30 minute car ride. You can also take an open top scenic tour bus to take in the beautiful Cornish scenery that you may miss whilst travelling by car.
If you are looking for entertainment for the children there is plenty to offer, Paradise Park in Hayle is home to tropical birds, penguins, farm animals and also has a large indoor play centre. Flambards is the regions theme park located in Helston, with indoor and outdoor entertainment. Goonhilly Listening Station is a great place to visit for inquiring minds, the enormous satellite dishes are an awesome sight.
Penzance and the surrounding area offers such a fantastic holiday location for all to enjoy, it will be a place you will want to return to year after year.

None of the details of the apartment were exaggerated in the description. It was very well appointed for visitors. Excellent views, location superb close to local pubs and restaurants and within walking distance to the town centre. |
