Chapel House
About the home
The Chapel offers a very high standard of luxurious accommodation and furnishings (furnished according to 5 star grading) with original chapel character including stained glass windows, beams, chapel nooks and pulpit in main bedroom. Stunning views over the breathtaking scenery that is the Pembrokeshire coast. 5-10 minutes walk down a national trust path directly from the property leads to a secluded beach, or indeed to join up with the National Park paths which follow the entire Pembrokeshire coast.
Within 3 min drive are further beaches, including the famous Newgale Sands, shops, pubs and restaurants. Bus stop plus phone box opposite chapel. We are just a few minutes drive from the beautiful city of St David's, the smallest and most picturesque city in the UK. Approx 10 minutes away is the shopping town of Haverfordwest where there are large superstores plus a quaint shopping centre with traditional Welsh crafts sold and farmers markets held weekly.

BookThe West Wales / Pembrokeshire / Pembrokeshire region
Just to list a few of our favourite activities, whale and dolphin watching, boat trips, surfing, lazing on the beach, horse riding (on trails or on the beach), hiking the stunningly scenic coastal path, shopping, quad-bike racing, theme parks (Folly farm is our children’s favourite), waterskiing, scuba-diving, jet-skiing, 4x4 trails, kayaking, coasteering (has to be tried!), visiting local farms, local vineyards, cinemas, spas, mircolighting, swimming, fishing, golf, eating and drinking the best local cuisine plus of course just lazing in the garden with a good book has to get a mention as well. Virtually anything you can think of that you would like to occupy your holidays can be organised here in Pembrokeshire.
The Penycwm area
To recommend a couple of really great things that we enjoyed recently when we were at the Chapel . The beach that you access from across the road at the Chapel is stunning and at low tide it feeds into the beautiful newgale sands (there is a tide time table in the coast to coast magazine in the house) it only takes 10-15mins to walk down with the pushchair and suits all tastes as there is beach, stones and rock pools.
We had some fantastic lunches - to recommend a couple of restaurants 35 in Solva is lovely and the harbour and shops are worth a wander. The Bench in St Davids is delicious - and again St Davids is great to explore. There is a pufin bus if you don't want to drive that runs all along the coast and stops near the Chapel. Porthgain is another favourite of ours - the Sloop inn is great for lunch and the Shed menu looks great.
