Home description
The lodge is fully double glazed and insulated. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge,freezer, electric cooker and hob unit, iron and ironing board.
The lounge has comfortable sofas with colour televsion and DVD player. There are patio doors leading out onto the decking area.
There are 3 bedrooms, one double, one twin and the third bedroom has a bunk bed and is ideal for children. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge area which sleeps 2.
The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and a bath with an overhead shower. There is aslo a second toilet and washroom.

The Powys / Brecon Beacons / Powys region
The Victorian Spa Town of Llandrindod Wells holds the Victorian Festival in Mid August. Close by are the Elan Valley Dams which are 20mins drive. The Royal Welsh Show is held in Builth Wells every July. Not forgetting the spectacular Brecon Beacons National Park, It is an ideal for those wishing to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park and Border Country or those just wanting peace and tranquillity.
Penybont area
Penybont (Pen-y-bont) is a small village located to the east of Crossgates and to the north-east of Llandrindod Wells. The A44 runs east-west through the village, and the A488, which starts in Penybont, runs north to Knighton and Shrewsbury.
The village is served by Pen-y-Bont railway station on the Heart of Wales Line. There is a friendly village pub/hotel, The Severn Arms.
A great location for fishing where Ithon, a tributary of the River Wye presents an interesting mix of deep, tranquil (in low water) pools, shallow riffles and clay banks in an open rural setting. Tickets are £5 per day.
A delightful setting from which to explore the beautiful Brecon landscape, go pony trekking, walking or climbing.
How to get there
We are midway between Kington and Rhayader on the A44.
Turn directly by river bridge in Penybont, carry on for approx 2 miles until you reach BrynThomas Farm. Take right hand turn for Cefnllys Church drive over brow of hill and lodges are on the right.
