House | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 7
Get-away from it all! Terraced house 400 metres from sea with garden, court-yard and parking. Large lockable private garage. The property was totally renovated in 2005 and offers comfortable and well-equipped accommodation.
Beautiful unspoilt coast often described as between land and sea. Huge choice of beaches of different kinds within walking distance and/or by car within 5 to 45 minutes from house; some very well known but lots of others with very few people, even in August.
The route of coastal path, GR34, passes 30 metres from the house. Many lovely meandering lanes and coastal paths that are ideal for walking and cycling.
Attractions such as ancient castles and grand chateaux. Interesting old towns and villages within easy reach and lots of opportunities for shopping for local produce in markets.

The Brittany region
Buguélès is a small village tucked away on the Côtes-d'Armor coast overlooking an ever-changing sea with tiny islands accessible by kayak, or walking at low tide. It's the perfect place to get away from it all.
From the house you can walk to a number of beaches, two of them 'hidden' by the 'cordon', a 6 metre high pebble bank that joins some of the islands; here you'll find large sandy bays ideal for swimming with perhaps only as many as twenty other people sharing these lovely places, even in August.
Low-water fishing is possible on most tides. Sailing school 3 km.
Also great for walking and cycling; especially along the national coastal path, GR34, which passes in front of our property.
There are so many places to visit! Much depends on personal interests: geological, historical, naturalists, visiting markets, local towns and villages. For example, for historians, further afield from Buguélès you can lose yourself in Breton history. Castles (both ruined and refurbished) abound, and the medieval town of Treguier, just 15 minutes away by car, retains much of its old character.
As well as all the canoeing, wind-surfing and sailing opportunities a wide choice of seafood that comes from the local coast is readily available, especially at local markets. We can show you how to prepare it all if you need some help. Also you can stuff yourself silly with crêpes and the local kouign-amann (a butter cake delicious warm from the oven), then walk it all off along the mammoth 'granite rose' rocks of Ploumanach and Tregastel.
A range of boats trips are on offer such as line-fishing trips and tourist excursions to Les Iles de Brehat and Sept Iles.
If you are thinking of buying a second home in France or perhaps moving why not rent the house for an extended period - special rates.
We enjoy sharing our fantastic surrounding with guests, so take a look at our website and get in touch if you have any questions.
