Home description
This comfortable 3 bedroom home is ideal for families or groups of friends. Situated near the beautiful Pink Granite Coast with delightful nearby walks through woodlands and past lakes. All amenities are close by, including a local market every saturday. As the house is set in large private grounds there is plenty of room for barbecues, badminton and football etc. Also on the property is a barn containing a full sized pool table. The house is comfortably furnished with central heating and an open fire for all year rentals.

The Brittany / Cotes-D'Armor region
The north west coast of Brittany is a place of natural outstanding beauty with some of the best beaches in France. The surrounding area is called the Pink Granite Coast because the giant granite rock formations are actually pink .The best place to view the amazing rocks is Plusegnac, a delightful little harbour with nice little restaurants to eat.You will be blown away with the rock formations like giant boulders have just fallen from space. All along the coast are little inlets with sandy beaches and little places to eat.
Penvenan area
In the summer months there is always something happening. The Bretons are very keen on traditional festivals and folk music can be found in most town squares at week ends.Colourful markets happen on Wednesdays and Saturdays and are a must if you want to check out the freshly caught seafood and freshly picked vegetables.The market in Penvenan village sqaure happens every saturday and nearby there is a wednesday market in Treguire. Treguire is an old hisoric town 3 km from the house and well worth a visit with its church,old cobbled streets,shops and restaurants.
How to get there
1. Fly to Brest. Flybe offer cheap flights from Southampton, Exeter and Birmingham.Penvenan is only a 63 mile drive from the airport and car hire is available at the airport. 2. Cherbourg Ferry Port is a pleasant 208 mile drive from the house. 3. Roscoff Ferry Port is only 47 miles from the house. 4. St.Malo Ferry Port is a leisurely 100 miles from the house.

A guest book is available with comments from previous visitors with suggestions for places to visit A few adult bicycles are available to use for trips to the local bakery etc.The use of bicycles must be at the riders own risk.
Further details outdoors: The house stands in approximately 1 acre of grounds so there is plenty of room for football tennis badminton the usuale games you like to play with the family.There is two feilds one larger than the other so there is enough room for a caravan or two if a family wanted to envite somone allong or even put up a couple of tents for the children,their would be caravaning or camping fee but this could be aranged.
