About the home

Greenah Crag is comprised of two former barns, Old Corner Barn and The Stables. Converted in 2009 these stunning Cumbrian cottages can be rented individually or together to sleep up to 8 people. Old Corner Barn sleeps 6 people on the ground floor with a living area on the first floor, while The Stables is a ground floor cottage comprising of one double bedroom with en suite wet room suitable for disabled use with wheelchair access. Equipped and furnished to a high level these superior Cumbrian cottages are amongst the best accommodation Cumbria has to offer.

Old Corner Barn has a master bedroom with king bed and en suite bathroom plus a double and twin bedroom and a bathroom with separate shower cubicle. The first floor open plan space is contemporary in its furnishings and comprises of the lounge, kitchen and dining room complete with solid wood flooring, TV and DVD. The kitchen is fully equipped and a utility room houses a washer/dryer.

The Cumbria/Lake District region

The Penrith / Penruddock area

Situated close to Troutbeck and further holiday cottages in Cumbria, Greenah Crag is a delightful rural location and yet is only 10 minutes by car from the M6. These centrally located Lake District cottages are ideally situated for exploring Keswick, Caldbeck Falls and Ullswater. For holiday accommodation Cumbria has a super selection.
<p align="justify">Ullswater is the area's second largest lake at around 9 miles long and winds through beautiful countryside and stunning mountain scenery. Numerous marinas are tucked away along the water's edge, ideal for lovers of water sports. Visitors can board one of the many steamers which have sailed across the water since 1855, enjoying the attractive scenery.<br />
