"Beautiful authentic Italian house for a great price"
I stayed here with family for a week in February- in the middle of the worst snow seen in the town for decades... the house was warm and comfy, I think the owner lives in England so the house is empty… More

Although the house itself could be a nice holiday home , in its current state I would not recommend it. We arrived after a heavy rainfall to find the roof was leaking and water coming into the bedroom. The front garden was overgrown and littered with dog mess, and the back garden was a total wilderness with rubbish dumped in the undergrowth. The top floor was not accessible and strange noises were coming from behind the sealed door! (Either animal or bird?)
The house had not been cleaned for a long time and a pigeon had got into the house and died , but not before it had crapped everywhere. It took us about three hours to clean up, most people would have just turned round and left.
Also not sure about the oven full of bricks?
Also no fitted sheets or tea towels available.
On a positive note the boiler worked really well!
However after three days we could take it no more and moved into a hotel
Hi Tim, I'm really sorry you did not enjoy your stay. Before you went out there, I did ask you to get in touch if the cleaner had not been, if you had done so then I would have sorted it out for you. However, the house is advertised as rustic, and priced accordingly so most who go out there are very happy with what they get. The top floor is locked and not intended to be accessed. Regards, Warren.
