New lambs appear in January and new foals for the herds of welsh mountain ponies throughout the summer.
Gower has some of the best waves in Britain and is host to a growing surf culture of all ages. World renowned surfer Peter Jones has a shop based in Llangennith, not to be missed by enthusiasts. There are surf schools operating in Caswell and Llangennith during the season as are other water sports. Kite surfing is also gathering pace as is cycling with the highly acclaimed Afan Forest Park and the millennium coastal path trails within 45 mins drive. Numerous golf courses.
