The North Wales region

The northen arc of Cardigan Bay- much of it in the National Park-is one of outstanding beauty. Mountains sweep down to the sea in a series of stunning esturies, and the beaches are some of the sandiest and most spacious in all of Wales. In the hills you'll find remote beauty spots, mountain lakes and magnificent walking. Explore it on the Cambrian Coast Railway, which runs along the bay.

Aberdyfi surely one of Britain's prettiest little seaside resorts and sailing ports, located where the River Dyfi meets the waters of Cardigan Bay. Pastel coloured terraces front a large sandy beach and quaint old harbour. A popular centre for sailing, water sports and golf(at a famous links course). Local museum dedicated to Aberdyfi's shipbuilding past.

Pennal

The village of Pennal is rich in historical interest with documented history going back to roman times. The village was involved in the revolt of Owain Glyndwr and also the war of roses. A historic church stands in the center of the village.

Machynlleth 4 miles away was the first capital of Wales.

Aberdyfi is a beautiful harbour villiage and has a lovely sandy beach that goes all the way to Tywyn, an old fashioned seaside town with fomous honey ice cream.
