Tierra de Irta is situated on the Orange Blossom Coast of Spain and is only two minutes’ walk from the beach, The town of Peniscola known as the City in the Sea is a short distance with its Medieval walls and vast History. The national park of "Sierra de Irta", surrounds the complex and is one of the most unspoilt nature reserves in Spain. The apartment benefits from a shared pool suitable for all the family, large sun terrace and stunning views of the Mediterranean.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Costa del Azahar region
The Costa del Azahar ( the Orange blossom coast ) is one of the least developed of the Costas, which maintains the true Spanish feeling. The area is surrounded by the mountains covered in the orchards of orange, lemon, pear and fig trees. Sierra de Irta is recognised as being one of the most beautiful spots in the region of Valencia, with its hilltops populated by a typical Mediterranean forest which flows towards the sea, to a practically unaltered coastline that stretches for 12 kilometres.
Peniscola / Tierra de Irta area
Peñiscola is known as The City in the Sea. Its fortress, surrounded by the white walled buildings of the ‘Old town’ stand defensively on a rocky outcrop jutting out into the sea. By day the narrow streets are bustling with visitors and traders. By night the old moorish town is transformed into a maze of street restaurants and bars.
The town and harbour areas near to the castle have been tastefully developed and provide shops, restaurants and the pleasant park area where the local weekly market is held. There is plenty to do for all ages and the local fair, amusements and Go Cart Stadium are particular attractions for younger visitors.
Fishing is still very much a part of the local scene and people flock to the harbour for the return of the fleet in late afternoon. On both sides of the peninsula there are beaches. The south beach is about 1km in length and the very popular north beach is 7km in length and is where the majority of the tourism is located
How to get there
Direct flights to Reus and Barcelona from all major airports in the UK.- Easyjet, Ryanair, Bmi Baby, Jet2 Castellon Airport -Opens 2008 (25 mins drive)
By car:- From either Reus/Barcelona approach via motorway E15 to Peniscola exit. Take signs to Peniscola (N30) then turn off as signed Peniscola to a large roundabout, take the exit to Peniscola (CV141), continue ahead, across 2 roundabouts, at the 3rd roundabout take the 1st exit (coast road) towards Tierra D'Irta-sea on left. Continue for 4 kms , pass 'Residentia Edison' on the left,take a right turn to Tierra D'Irta
