The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast region
Praia da Areia Branca is a small coastal town close to both the Costa da Prata / Costa do Estoril boarders. This area of the Silver Coast is unspoilt with beautiful wide sandy beaches, rugged coast lines, plenty of history and framed by the magnificent Atlantic coast.
Peniche area
Praia da Areia Branca has plenty of shops ,bars and restaurants. The property is in walking distance of lovely beaches. It also has a local surfing school, playgound, and outdoor Go-Kating track. The larger town of Lourinha is just a 2 minute drive where you can find the hypermarkets and more shops. Peniche is just a 10 minute drive away, famous for its surfing beaches and fish restaurants. There is a ferry from Peniche which runs to the Berlenga Islands. Obidos, the medieval walled city, is a 20 minute drive. There are plenty of local golf courses including Praia D'el Ray , only a 15 minute drive.
