The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast region

This area boasts some of the finest examples of the silver coasts famous beaches.Great for surfing , fishing, diving. Praia del Rey one of Portugal's best golf course is five minutes away. Medieval Obidos is ten minutes away.
Places of interest include Alcobasa monastery, Bombarral vineyard and Oeste wine route, ten minutes drive.
Fatima and Bathala cathedral. Lisbon city less than one hour away, visit Sintra palace and Mafra.


Peniche / Baleal area

Peniche is a lovely fishing town, lots of good bars and restaurants.from here a short boat trip will take you to berlinga island a nature reserve, great for diving.

Baleal is world famous for its great surfing beach, and island accessable by car.A lovely place to sit in one of the many beach bars and watch an amazing sunset.

During the summer months there are lots of festas in the many local villages.

Medieval Obidos, has the medieval festival, opera festival, chocolate festival and Christmas festival.

The world famous oeste wine route is nearby, and wine festival in Bombarral in July.
