The caravan is a Willerby Granada and is 2 years old. Situated in an elevated position with sea views. Within walking distance there is a choice of shops and restaurants. The sandy beach is a short walk away and at low tide rocks and rock pools are a wealth of wildlife for you to explore.
There is an entertainments centre called "The Sands" which has an indoor swimming pool, bars and restaurants and has live entertainment until October, passes are available at extra cost between £6.50 and £8.50 per person.

The caravan has a King size bed, 2 single beds and a pull out double bed in the lounge. Open plan living area with a full size fitted kitchen. There is also a washing machine available. There is central heating and it is fully double glazed and insulated. The living area has fixed settees that wrap one side of the caravan and the dinning area has a fixed seating area plus 2 dining chairs. There is freesat TV available with a selection of DVDS. There is an IPOD docking station with a radio. There is also a selection of jigsaws and family games.
High chair and travel cot available on request free of charge. (please check for availability)

Decking to the front of the caravan which has a table and 6 chairs. There is a gate at the entrance to the decking so it can be shut to secure the area.

The West Wales / Pembrokeshire / Carmarthenshire region
Nearby Laugharne famous for Dylan Thomas and its castle over looking the Taff river estuary is well worth a visit. A short distance from Pendine are the seaside resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby there are also coastal walks from the caravan.
Just a short drive away is the county of Pembrokeshire known for its walks and numerous beaches. There is also Oakwood Theme Park, Anna Ryder-Richardsons Manor Park and Folly Farm. There are numerous other activities such as Go-Carting, paint-balling, National Trust sites close by.
The Pendine area
Pendine has 7 miles of sandy beach with a far reaching tide. Horse riding at Marros is a short drive from Pendine
The Morfa Bay outdoor activity centre is close by and offers windsurfing and kite surfing lessons at various times.
There are fishing trips available at nearby Saundersfoot and Tenby. There is a good bus service to Carmarthen and Tenby.

We have had several caravan holidays over the years and Jon and Trina's van in Pendine is definitely in the nicest spot and the best equipped we have stayed in to date. The welcome pack of wine, drinks for the children, chocolate and cakes was amazing and very thoughtful. We were very impressed that the caravan was stocked up with tea bags, coffee, sugar, handsoap, cling film etc. Having a washing machine was very useful as anyone with young children will agree! The setting was very peaceful and we had a lovely view of the sea. We loved being just over the road from the beach, and also being able to park our car on the beach if we wanted to. Pendine has several places to eat, a few shops and a children's playground, so pretty much all you could need when holidaying with little ones. We had a brilliant holiday and would recommend the caravan to anyone. |

Having stayed in self catering accomodation on over Europe and the US this really is as close to the perfect as you can get. Spotless, clean, fresh and in immaculate condition. The owners really have thought of everything, cannot think of a single item that was needed and not in the caravan. The owners left a welcome pack which was appreciated and a lovely touch which really does leaving us wanting to return. Next time we are in that area we won't even have to think twice where to stay....Perfect! |
