Basuki is a romantic wooden house suitable for 2 people. It has a bedroom with a double bed with fan and air conditioning. A sitting area with a desk, a fridge and a sofa bed suitable for 1 extra person. It has a veranda at the front with garden and ocean views. This house has a large open bathroom with beautiful views towards the sea and mountains. In the basuki garden there is a gazebo to relax or read a book, with a super view over the bay.

You can use 2 communal pools one is close to Basuki , below the yoga pavilion, a 6 x 6 round pool with cozy seating area and super sunrise views. The other pool is 22 meters in length, a 10 minute hike uphill from Basuki. This is the Lingga pool, with spectacular sunset views behind the Java volcanoes.

Basuki is part of the Sumberkima Hill retreat Sumberkima is the village west of Pemuteran. The resort is on a unique location on the top of a hill with beautiful views on the bay of Sumberkima, the mountains of Barat National Park and the volcanoes on Java. There is a restaurant that offers high quality food. The staff will take care of all household activities, but can also organize trips, massage treatments, snorkeling and diving trips or yoga sessions.

Sumberkima is still an authentic environment with great variety in landscape. and pleasant climate. This part of Bali has less rainfall and is a perfect destination also for the rainy season.

In this area you will find the best diving snorkeling spots of Bali. It is close to Barat National park, Menjangan Island. Kawa Ijen on Java, the Biorock reef of Pemuteran and some of the oldest temples in Bali.

Why can't I call Kadek (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kadek (the owner) a message.

If Kadek (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
