Home to a magnificent castle and the birthplace of Henry Tudor, the medieval town of Pembroke is a wonderful walled city set in stunning surroundings. Positioned on the river estuary, this beautiful settlement offers a number of shops, tea-rooms and various places to eat. The wonderful Pembrokeshire coastline is close by and provides award-winning beaches and incredible local walks. The unusual chapel of St Govan's has been built into the cliff face and offers lovely views over the Stack Rocks. Also within easy driving distance is the Oakwood Theme Park and the delightful Folly Farm, which gives visitors a chance to feed new-born lambs or enjoy a tractor ride.

Thank you for your review. The owners and ourselves value all customer feedback and we are pleased that you and your party enjoyed Herons Reach and its facilities.
We provide information on all facilities through our website and booking confirmation so that prospective guests are clear on what to expect. The owners are very happy to welcome dogs and, like most holiday cottages, have clearly stated rules for the sake of all their guests, whether dog owners or not. This property does not routinely provide towels for personal use (as stated in the property information) however they are available on request for overseas visitors.
Clearly there appeared to be some concerns with the caretaker and while the owners do not live locally they are kept fully informed of any guest concerns. The caretaker and her husband have worked for the owners for over three years and other feedback received shows they are highly valued as part of the overall package at Herons Reach. We are, of course, extremely sorry if their manner was misinterpreted as they would not have wanted to cause any offence or upset.
Thank you once again for your valuable comments.
