Walking in Pembrokeshire provides a feast of choices with circular walks, gentle strolls, full day yomps, and wheel chair and easy access paths a plenty. You can even tackle the Pembrokeshire Coast National Trail with 186 miles of Coast Path providing unbelievable views and experiences.
Not far from the sand and sea you can explore the historic architecture of numerous ancient castles, palaces and cathedrals. Quaint picturesque coastal and inland villages pepper the landscape, with their quirky little shops pubs and restaurants.
This corner of Wales has become a hideaway for many resident artists and crafts people, there works can be found in the many galleries and open studios that are hidden in the villages and towns.
Freshwater East is a small village with houses and flats perched on cliff-tops and nestled in the dunes of a sandy south facing bay. The beach is framed by large sand dunes and cliffs, and looks out to distant views of Cornwall, Devon and Lundy. Your flat sits amongst the National Park and leads right on to the Coast Path making the location unmissable!
As well as the beautiful beach of Freshwater East right on your doorstep, there are numerous award winning beaches within a 10 mile radius of your accommodation. There are also lots of excellent theme parks within the area if you or the kids require a little more excitement.
Freshwater East has a couple of nice pubs serving good food and beer. You also have the village of Lamphey just a 5 minute drive away where you will find several pubs and hotels serving excellent local produce. Lamphey also has a Spar and fuel station where you can stock up on any essentials.
