The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region
In the South West corner of Wales is the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. This National Park is famous for its spectacular coastal scenery, beautiful beaches, wildlife, outdoor activities and heritage.
Walking, surfing, fishing, kiting, kayaking and climbing are just a few of the activities you will find here.
Walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is an ideal way to see the coast. Alternatively take a boat trip, perhaps to one of Pembrokeshire's islands such as Caldey or Skomer. You may spot seals, dolphins and Puffins on the way.
Enjoy the mild climate and clean sea air of Pembrokeshire.
From Norman castles to theme parks, there are loads of places to visit.
Explore, relax and enjoy.
Pembroke has a fine Norman castle. A pleasant walk can be taken around the castle and mill pond. Carew Castle, Manorbier Castle, Lamphey Bishop's palace and tiny St Govan's chapel are other heritage sites in the Pembroke area.
There are fantastic beaches in this part of Pembrokeshire. Barafundle Bay and Broadhaven are renowned for their beauty. Freshwater West and Manorbier Bay are good for surfing. Manorbier is a great place for rockpooling when the tide is out. West Angle Bay, Tenby and Freshwater East beaches are popular with families.
The picturesque harbour town of Tenby with its Norman town walls, Georgian architecture and quaint pubs and shops is worth a visit. While you are there you could take a boat trip to Caldey island or go out on a mackerel fishing trip.
There are several theme parks in this area including Heatherton Activity Park, Manor House Wildlife Park and the Dinosaur Park. About half an hours drive away are Oakwood theme park, Folly Farm and Blue Lagoon Waterpark.
Bosherston Lily Ponds (Stackpole Lakes) is a beautiful National Trust area to visit including woodland, lakes, cliffs and beaches. There are lots of different walks around Stackpole.
Stack Rocks and the Green Bridge of Wales are another local beauty spot.

"Lovely place to stay"
Really clean and tidy, tea and coffee tray on arrival, plenty of usefull information left in guides on table from where to eat, shops including opening hours, and leisure activities,we have stayed at fresh east before but I would highly recommend this apartment as it has been extended downstairs with extra bedroom and lounge so was very roomy, owner called in not long after we arrived which was a nice touch and although nothing went wrong we felt sure that if it had it would be sorted out promptly

"Fantastic self-catering accommodation for exploring Pembrokeshire coastline"
We have stayed in Jennys apartments at Trewent park a few times now as we have fallen in love with the Pembrokeshire coastline.
The beaches and costal path are the big draw with dramatic views and consistent surf. Though there are plenty of other things to do if you fancy a change, Oakwood theme park and Pembroke castle stand out.
Nice village, and a long sandy beach. The freshwater in is a lovely pub if you don't fancy catering for yourself or feel like a beer with a couple of the locals though its the top of the hill so bring your walking feet!
The location is fantastic - just behind the bay.
I would estimate that there are 300ish property's, mostly 70's style prefabricated, Initially this put us of a little though we need not have worried as they are cosy on the inside.
There are some amenities on site including a bar and a little shop though they don't always seem to be open so we usually bring some basics with us to get us started and do a big shop in the Pembroke dock Tesco. And buy bits and bobs from lamphey petrol station.
Phone signal can be a bit patchy and they don't all have Wi-Fi if this is important to you I would check what's available at the one you are staying at before booking.
We have always found them to be clean and well kept. The kitchen contains everything we have needed for self-catering. They feel spacious in the summer and cosy in the winter. Over the years Jenny has upgraded the them and I would say they are now a lot nicer than most of the site.
On our last trip was over the new year period with a group of friends who also stayed in Jennys apartments. We stayed in seashell which has recently been extended and is now cladded in a blue on the outside not the usual white. Its now far bigger than the 2 of us required though the extra space was useful for catering for friends in the evenings.
Seashell has wifi and I got good phone signal (O2) which was useful for keeping touch with home.
It well worth exploring the website to get a feel for the area and get some inspiration for things to do.
We have always found Jenny very friendly and approachable, She often stops by to welcome us and enjoy a cup of tea on arrival. and has been very accommodating when we have organised group trips down and when we forgot towels.
We will be booking our next trip down soon.

"Beach & Quiet in a beautiful landscape just right for walking."
Our second year staying in this location and as you can tell we loved it. The weather on both occasions has not been brilliant but this has not prevented us from having a great holiday. The accommodation is clean tidy and well cared for and Jenny looks after it all and communicates well so you feel confident when you arrive that everything will be as expected which it is. The setting is great and is so close to the beach you can walk their in 5 minutes and if you do have great weather you won't want to go any where else. The good news is there are lots of things to do around the area and some lovely towns to visit. I have to mention Folly Farm as this is a god send if the weather is poor and you have children, we love it and so does our 4 year old. Yes we will be going again this year as well as going abroad, we would feel we had not had a restful break unless we had spent at least a week at one of Jenny's homes.
