Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
Those wishing to spend their well-earned holidays within an easy stroll of one of Pembrokeshire's best beaches should look no further than the delightful Bosun's Chalet. This lovely property has two bedrooms and can accommodate a maximum of four guests. Snuggled within a terrace of similar dwellings on a designated holiday site, the property enjoys a sublime coastal location by virtue of the nearby sandy bay which is simply stunning and a superb, recreational environment for both children and adults. The property has a practical open-plan layout which engenders a light-filled and uplifting atmosphere throughout. Both bedrooms are well presented and reflect the property's fantastic coastal location. Should the weather be kind, there is no need to spend any time indoors as outdoor furniture can be placed either at the front or back allowing guests to ‘track' the sun all day. After a long but fun-filled day guests can wander over to the family-friendly pub located near to the site's entrance and enjoy a good meal. Should guests ever tire of the adjacent, gorgeous bay, the internationally regarded Pembrokeshire Coastal Path passes near the site and are strongly advised to sample this amazing walkway. The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region
This is an area of mountains, sea and national park and somewhere that has been attracting holidaymakers for many years. Pembrokeshire Coast national Park in the south west is a favourite holiday destination, with miles of coastal footpaths and wonderful seascapes; lots of Blue Flag beaches and seas rich in marine life. Further east Carmarthenshire also has lots to attract holidaymakers, with historic castles, mountains, rivers and of course coastline. No matter where you choose your never too far away from mountains and the sea and of course there is the thriving cities of Cardiff and Swansea to visit, where you'll find lots of first class shops, cafes and restaurants.
The range of holiday amenities and attractions on offer in Pembrokeshire is hugely impressive and the region richly deserves the accolade given to it by the influential ‘National Geographic Magazine' which voted it the second best coastal location in the world! It is perhaps above all a fantastic environment for walkers with the much-loved Pembrokeshire Coastal path for example, offering some of the finest seascape views in the UK. Highly recommended is the stretch between Freshwater East and Broadhaven South, the culmination of which is the descent into the majestic Barafundle Bay, located less than five miles from Bosun's Chalet. For a change of scene, few people will fail to be impressed by nearby Pembroke Castle. This was the birthplace of Henry VIII's father and is an amazing visitor attraction. It runs a packed programme of events and children will love exploring its network of tunnels. Pembroke town itself is extremely tourist friendly and well worth a visit. Guests will be impressed with its vibrant retail sector and related facilities. Another ‘must see' is the medieval town of Tenby, located just over ten miles away. Architecturally and visually stunning, the town has a great range of visitor amenities and a truly beautiful beach. Approximately thirty miles up the coast will bring visitors to charming St David's. This is the smallest city in the UK and a super destination for a day-trip. Pembrokeshire is a fantastic holiday destination and holiday-makers often return time after time to get the most from this wonderful region.
