Poppy Cottage is in a quiet cul de sac overlooking Pembroke Mill Pond and close to Pembroke Castle. It is a period stone built cottage that has been completely refurbished and has only recently become available.

From this room a circular staircase rises to a landing with two generous sized twin bedrooms. These have delightful views over the Millpond with its abundent bird life. A further two steps rise to a third double bedroom with a pleasant aspect overlooking the garden. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath-shower, basin, WC and airing cupboard and the other with a shower, basin and WC.The cottage has full central heating with a master controller giving separate control for each room. The cottage has a very light aspect with Velux roof windows in two bedrooms and the landing.

Downstairs there is a generously sized kitchen with oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave etc also a further table for six with chairs and a bench seat + A small high chair adapter. There is a Utility room with washing machine, gas boiler and drying rack. A lobby with a separate WC leads to the garden.

Outside the garden is on three levels the lower patio area having table and chairs and a barbecue. An upper area has a very secluded sunny aspect with seats and sun loungers. A further level has a clothes drying area with rotary clothes line. There is a rear entrance to the garden, also a garage for a vehicle up to 16ft with electric door.

We aim for the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, therefore the house is strictly non smoking and regrettably we cannot accept pets. Please note we do not pay any agents commission and consequently our prices represent better value than some others that do.

The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region

Pembrokeshire is famous for having the only coastal National Park in the UK.

Apart from some of the country's finest beaches, (Freshwater East, Barafundle Bay, Newgale and Tenby to name but a few) the countryside is beautiful. There's plenty to do in this fascinating county - walking, riding, fishing, golf, water sports boat trips etc.

The award winning theme parks of Oakwood, Folly Farm & Heatherington are within a few miles, whilst a visit to the Monastery on Caldey Island is a must. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is over one hundred miles long with spectacular and varied scenery.

Close to Pembroke town centre with shops, supermarket, pubs and restaurants.Overlooking river near Pembroke Castle. There is a sports centre with pool less than one mile away and the nearest beach, the spectacular Freshwater East is about three miles away. In fact there are five or six lovely beaches within a fifteen minute drive of the cottage. Pembroke is also served by the Coastal Cruiser which is a reliable holiday bus service which tours all the local beaches on a regular schedule. The train from Pembroke takes you to Tenby in about twenty minutes.
