Hidden away in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region, and completely surrounded in vineyards, these two beautiful stone houses adjoin the stunning XVIII century Chateau la Forest. These houses have been renovated to an extremely high standard and luxuriously furnished to offer complete relaxation and comfort. The grounds have been meticulously landscaped and designed. At Chateau la Forest each house has its own private garden and swimming pool. Both houses are rented together for large groups of up to 24.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Gironde region
The countryside is dramatic with numerous quaint towns & villages dotted throughout the region as well as countless chateaux, caves, view points & museums. Take in the markets that overflow with local produce such as foie gras, truffles, walnuts, duck & goose.
Sarlat should be explored via the cool and shady lanes & courtyards to the rear of the cathedral. The central square hosts a fantastic Saturday market for flowers, goie gras, truffles & other local produce. The prehistoric painted caves of Les Eyzies and Lascaux are very popular as a day trip. Canoeing in the Dordogne river is possible and is well suited to beginners who just want to cruise downstream for half a day soaking up the atmosphere.
Pellegrue area
These beautiful properties are situated just on the outskirts of the quaint village of Landerrouat, and are within easy access of St. Emilion, Bergerac, Bordeaux, and some of the best vineyards for wine tasting in the region. There's an excellent choice of restaurants and Ferme Auberge nearby. Local activities include golf, tennis, horse riding and fishing.

Further details indoors: The property surrounds the stunning Chateau la Forest and is divided in to 2 separate buildings: La Prunerie and La Orangerie (ideal for a couple of families sharing a holiday).
La Prunerie - Fabulous kitchen/dining/living room excellently equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. - 4 double bedded rooms. - 2 twin-bedded rooms. - 2 luxurious bathrooms. - 2 separate WCs.
La Orangerie - Fabulous kitchen/dining room extremely well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. - Beautifully furnished salon. - 4 double bedded rooms. - 2 twin-bedded rooms. - 2 luxurious bathrooms. - 2 separate WCs.
Both houses are fully centrally heated so are suitable for rental throughout the year. All electricity, water, linen, towels, telephone and maid service is inclusive in the rental price. A guided tour of a local vineyard to sample some of the best Bordeaux wines in the area is also included. There is one cot available at the chateau.

Conditions
- Security deposit: £2000. This is paid prior to arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection. - Linen & towels: All linen and towels are included in the rental price. - Energy costs: Included in the rental price during the summer. Heating costs in the winter are extra. - End of stay cleaning: Included. Maid service (3 hours per day) and cleaning is included in the price. Extra cleaning is charged to the client if the property is not left clean and presentable as found on arrival. - Arrival time: 4pm onwards. - Departure time: 10am. - Pets: No pets allowed. - Smoking: No smoking in the property. - It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
