A beautiful communal garden, is fully equipped with dining table and barbecue, where you can enjoy relaxation , making friends, under the foot of the spectacular Mount Illija.

The Dubrovnik Riviera/Islands region

Apartment Marina is situated in a beautiful location on the Peljesac Riviera. This is a peninsula connected to the Croatian mainland just 60km north of Dubrovnik.

Pelješac peninsula is second largest peninsula in Croatia. It is located on the east coast of the Adriatic sea, between Neretva and Mali Ston channel, halfway between Dubrovnik and Split, with an area of 355 km2, and length of 65 km. It is connected to the mainland by the narrow passage at Ston. Orebić area stretches from Trstenik to Lovište where sunny sand beaches are located. The whole coastline is low, protected from bora winds and is more sunny and much warmer than the northern side.

Peljesac / Orebic area

Pelješac is composed of Cretaceous limestone, dolomites and Eocene flysch. The highest point is Mt. St. Ilija (961m). It is a highland region, but with a lot of karst areas and has soil particularly favourable for growing grape vines, and mountain regions for breeding of high quality game.

Orebic is a small picturesque town, historically known as the cradle of captains and seaman, whose 33 merchant sailing boats has been sailing worldwide. The view of Peljesac channel and beautiful archipelago of 15 islands is unforgettable from 150 metres height lodge Lady of Angel’s monastery. Crystal clear water and few pebble beaches are just 2 minutes walk from the house. The house is situated at centre Orebic. Restaurants, bank, pharmacy, post, supermarkets, nautical museum are at hand.

Orebić area belongs to the "adriatic type" of Mediterranean climate, with long, calm, dry and warm summers with clear days, and short, mild and damp winters and is among agreeable climatic zones of Mediterranean. Ari temperatures are relatively high during the entire year. Only in January and February temperatures are below 10° C. Yearly insolation is 2589 hours.

How to get there

Bus
Orebić, during main tourist season, is connected by bus lines several times a day to major centres: Dubrovnik, Split, Zagreb and Sarajevo. Lines are rarer outside main season.

Car
If you take Adriatic highway from Dubrovnik, you arrive to Orebić through Ston. At Ston you take the main Pelješac road and after 60 km you arrive in Orebić.
If you take Adriatic highwayfrom Split, through Makarska or Ploče to Ston and further by Pelješac road to Orebić. You can board a car ferry in Ploče that sails to Trpanj. Ride is about one hour long, and after that it takes you about 20 minutes to reach Orebić.

Ship
Regular fast shipping line that connects Rijek, Split and Dubrovnik docks every day in Korčula during summer months. When you get of in Korčula you can take a ferry or boat to reach Orebić in about 15 minutes. Catamaran line Split-Korčula in summer months is the fastest connection between Split and Korčula. You take a passenger boat to reach Orebić after the catamaran arrives in Korčula.

If you are coming from larger european cities, Dubrovnik Airport enabls you to reach Orebić very quickly. After arrival at the airport there is transfer possibility to Dubrovnik bus station and continue your journey by bus to Orebić. You also have rent-a-car option.
