Ben My Chree Beach Holiday Cottage is nestled in the centre of the conservation area of the City of Old Peel, with its superb cathedral, places to eat with a good choice of beach and harbour restaurants, lively pubs and bars. Local shops and supermarket are "just round the corner". Bikes can be hired easily, and boats can be taken from the harbour for a trip to fish, or view the wildlife like the sharks, seals and various types of sea birds around Peel.

You can be driven round the island on a motorbike which holds two passengers.

The beautiful new marina, bustling harbour, ancient castle with a wonderful walkway alll the way around the outside ending at the harbour kiosk are close by. There is another sandy beach with rocks upon which the castle is built, and you can walk up the steps cut into the rock to get to the walkway around the castle. This is completely free. You will see kayakers, coast orienteering, and snorkellers operating from this splendid sandy beach.

You can hire boats to take you out to see the wonderful wildlife around the back of the castle, including various sea birds, seals, and basking sharks and it is magical!

The seafront position is perfect for admiring the striking Peel sunsets and is ideally situated as a base to explore this attractive island.

And best of all – the cottage is on the promenade and right by the fantastic sandy beach!

"Ben My Chree Beautiful Cottage Perfect Position"

We have stayed here for the last two years, having previously stayed in several cottages in the area, this is easily the best,. Perfect position facing the beach and close to the town, the cottage is beautifully furnished and Jenni and Bob who live next door are very friendly and helpful. We have wonderful memories of going to sleep to the sound of the waves and drawing back the curtains in the morning to look out over the bay from our bed. We have already booked for next year.

Thank you very much for this - It's good to be 'simply the best!' - and we, along with the seals, basking sharks, and gannets across from the cottage, and are looking forward to you both staying again next year.

"Location, Location, Location"

We stayed for a week with our 4 year old Grandaughter and had a wonderful time. The weather was glorious throughout and the location right across from the beach was perfect. We visited various places including the wonderful scenery at Niarbyl, Snafell and the Sound but there was plenty to occupy us all in Peel including the castle, museum, sharks and seal sightings and clifftop walks.
The cottage is well equipped and comfortable, there is a long safe promenade for scooters/bikes right outside, a good co-op at 5 minutes walk and plenty of rock pools/sand making the local area a paradise for children.

Thank you - so pleased you loved Ben My Chree Cottage - the only officially registered self catering tourist accommodation on the seafront in Peel. And that you enjoyed the soft sandy beach, lovely castle views, extensive promenade, along with the brilliant basking sharks and resident seals on your doorstep. Hope to see you all again soon.
