From the attic windows, one can overlook Peebles and the hillside with golf course.

The Peebles area
Peebles, a charming market town with 10000 inhabitants, with a unique old-time charm and rich in tradition and culture. There are plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants, art galleries, museums.
Edinburgh is only 40 minutes by car, or £35 by local taxi rates.(or £35 from the airport). Within 3 minute walking distance of a 18 hole golf course, High Street with shops, pubs, restaurants etc, River Tweed and riverside parkland, leading to country walks.
