Birchwood Townhouse is a totally modernized old stonehouse, situated in Old Town conservation area, beautifully designed, with all conveniences and a patio garden, 3 min. walking distance from :

* High Street with shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants and galleries
* River Tweed and riverside parkland, leading to country walks
* A 18-hole golf course (Green card not required)
* Swimming pool

Living so centrally, gives the freedom for a family, or group of friends, to engage in different activities,without depending on a car. However, there is free street parking right outside the house. The centre of Edinburgh is only 40 min. by car, or you can take the bus from High Street. Local taxi rates are affordable.

First floor: Entrance hall, bathroom/shower, kitchen with small breakfast table, living room with comfortable leather couches, oak flooring and a warming Victorian gas fire and a dining-area that seats 6, bedroom with a good sized double bed.

A staircase with skylight leads up to a spacious attic with:
One large bedroom with 2 single beds.
One single bedroom with a good size office workspace.

From the attic windows, one can overlook Peebles and the hillside with golf course.

All rooms have plenty of storage space.

Peebles, a charming market town with 10000 inhabitants, with a unique old-time charm and rich in tradition and culture. There are plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants, art galleries, museums.

Edinburgh is only 40 minutes by car, or £35 by local taxi rates.(or £35 from the airport). Within 3 minute walking distance of a 18 hole golf course, High Street with shops, pubs, restaurants etc, River Tweed and riverside parkland, leading to country walks.

“Handy location to High Street” Spacious and comfortable. Close to High Street. Needs to upgrade shower facility though, very poor presssure. Wi-fi good. Only free-view TV and on an old style TV. More sheets and towels could have... more
