We stayed at Shades for a week in December and had an amazing time. The apartment and gardens are immaculate and had everything we needed. Jacqi the manager is lovely and really helpful, and she recommended some great, inexpensive places to eat...including the yummy food stall just round the corner.
As this was our second trip to Barbados we knew that we wanted to be near the West coast beaches, so we chose to stay at Shades because it is only a few minutes walk to Paynes bay and Sandy lane beach, two of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
We would definitely recommend staying at Shades and we hope to visit again.
