"a very tired DIRTY property"
Poor standard of bedrooms and bathroom ie shower rail off the wall supported by window roller blind. Faeces on the wall and floor, hair in the sink belonging to previous occupant, no towels or toi… More
To all reading this. Its great to get honest feedback and we can always use that. But I just want to explain this one. As anyone that has been to our cottage or anyone in general, can see this review is totally made up.
These 2 gentlemen arrived and demanded towels and firewood. We dont advertise either. They got aggressive and abusive with my wife which is unacceptable, im sure you agree
They then got blind drunk in the pub we run. We have locals that saw this and tried to leave a review on here defending us but it got deleted. When I went to say hello they got aggressive and abusive with me. Swearing and calling names. As our pub is a quiet village pub we dont normally get this type of customer.
They tried to leave the pub without paying after their meal, and one of these gents got so drunk we had to rescue him from the toilet which he walked in and out of 4 times thinking it was the exit. You really could not make this up if you tried.
I escorted them out in a friendly way as other customer in the bar were complaining about them. Especially our locals.
Its funny as we live in the cottage next-door, and we have the village pub that these gentlemen didnt report the alleged things up the wall, the cleanliness. You would of thought if any of this was true then they would have spoken to us about it. Even phoned us maybe. But alas, they did not. Also the damage to the shower was done by these gents (thankyou) Cost us a few pounds.
My wife actually bought some towels and went to see the gentlemen the next day and they refused them saying they had bought some.
So when booking our cottage, please know we do our best to look after you, and its a lovely place to stay. Its a lovely village also. Your most welcome here. Book with confidence as we will not let you down.
These two gents just decided after their first night that they would make this review.
Thankyou so much gents. I hope you are well.
