Villa Kostas is one of those charming little Paxiot houses, compact in size but just right for two or four people. It opens on to paved terraces and a courtyard with beautiful stonework and well-tended citrus and olive trees. A charming new swimming pool is a very welcome addition. Eating outdoors is always a special pleasure on holiday and Villa Kostas is well-equipped for this, with a large barbecue and outdoor kitchen.

Paxos / Lakka area
Lakka lies in the north of Paxos at the head of a long natural inlet of the most startling shade of turquoise - reminiscent of a Caribbean bay. It is a perfect harbour and is filled with a fascinating array of yachts in summer. The village itself is small and focused almost entirely on its harbour-front, with a selection of useful shops and several good restaurants and bars, including a very good Italian restaurant. The shores of the bay are fringed with beautiful natural beaches, shaded by trees, and it is possible to walk to other, more unfrequented, beaches on the other side of the headlands.
How to get there
How to get to Paxos With no airport on Paxos, most visitors fly to the nearby island of Corfu and then transfer by hydrofoil, sea taxi or seaplane. It is an exciting start to your holiday! Charter flights to Corfu operate from most major European airports from May to October.

The living room is open-plan with the kitchen and dining area. Modernly furnished but in keeping with local tradition. Satellite TV (with local Channels) and DVD player. The kitchen area is fully equipped with full oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer and microwave.
There are two bedrooms - one master double bedroom with en suite shower room, and a twin-bedded room. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and copious fitted wardrobes.
Further details outdoors: The house is surrounded front and back by the paved courtyards so typical of houses in Paxos, with shade from neatly trimmed fruit trees and masses of plants in an original variety of containers. There is also a large BBQ and outdoor kitchen area near to the swimming pool.
