Set higher than the surrounding countryside, this Chateau gives 360 degree views over the vines, woodland, fields and meadows, with the most dramatic view from the terrace over towards the Pyrenees, yet at the same time it offers complete privacy.

There are 6 large bedrooms within the Chateau itself, four of which have en-suites and three more modest bedrooms in the Guest Cottage. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large Drawing Room and Dining Room. In addition there is a Tavern/bar opening up onto the 250 sq metres of Upper Terrace as well as a Games Room with a full size snooker table. The Tavern and Games room are air-conditioned.

The saltwater heated pool is 10m x 5m with Grecian steps. There is an automated security cover for safety as well as a laser alarm. The pool offers complete privacy.Set in its own grounds of 14 hectares, the Chateau is surrounded by mature trees, vines, woodland and well kept gardens. The property is very private and the Chateau Managers are extremely discreet about guests. The Dining Terrace is out of this world with views over towards the Pyrenees.

The Chateau is an ideal holiday home for families and groups in search of tranquillity, privacy and luxury. Yet it is only a 5 minute drive to the local village where you will find shops, bars, restaurants and the all important French morning market. Throughout the summer, there are banquets, festivals and events taking place throughout the season!

The Chateau is just 40 kms from the City of Pau which has an International Airport and Station.

This breathtaking Chateau is ideal for holidays throughout the year as situated in the Bearn on the Bearn/Gers borders, it is set in its own micro climate. For the summer months, the Chateau is geared towards outside living.For the Winter months, there are roaring open log fires in majestic stone fireplaces and central heating.

The west facing Dining Terrace is 250 square metres in area and has a long wooden Dining Table, wooden recliners and a coffee area with relaxed seating. Just around the corner, from the main terrace and with views over woodland, there is a built in BBQ area and small herb garden.

There is also a Gas BBQ if you would prefer and an additional Dining table. For large groups, both tables are used together.

The heated saltwater pool is 10m x 5m with additional Grecian steps. There are 8 wooden recliners and parasols for shade. The pool has an automated shutter as well as a laser alarm for safety. The pool is extremely private!

There are over 14 hectares of land with plenty of variety for everyone - large terraces to enjoy the sunsets on, open lawned areas for ball games and woodland walks for the more energetic, if they can tear themselves away from the pool area. The Chateau has its own vines and makes its own wine. A tasting can be arranged by the Chateau staff.

The Aquitaine/Dordogne region

Located in the South West corner of France, Aquitaine has got it all.

Part of the English Empire in the Middle Ages, its treasures were fought over for centuries – leaving a rich legacy of architecture, history and culture. It continues to be envied – enjoying a wonderful climate of four very different seasons, outstanding natural beauty, superb gastronomy and great wines.

Pau

The Chateau is set in complete privacy and tranquillity, yet is only a 5 minutes drive from the local village where you will find shops, bars, restaurants and the all important French morning market. Throughout the summer, there are banquets, festivals and events taking place regularly.

The Chateau is a haven for wildlife - wild boar, deer, hares, and birds of prey. The large upper terrace which opens out from the Bar/Tavern, the Dining Room and Kitchen area offers the perfect spot from which to view these delights or just sip your evening aperitif.

There are activities to suit all ages and interests, foodies will enjoy the great local restaurants at the heart of France's centre of gastronomic excellence, as well as the local wine. The Michelin starred restaurant of Michel Guerard is just a 30 minute drive away for that extra special meal.

The famous Jazz festival in Marciac takes place in July and August and is only a 40 minute drive from the Chateau. For the more active, there are Tennis Courts in Aire sur l'Adour and there is a Horse-riding Centre close to the Chateau. The famous pilgrimage town of Lourdes is just over an hour away.

In the winter, it is possible to access the ski slopes of the Pyrenees from the Chateau with Gourette (1hr30), Cauterets (1hr45) and Luz Ardiden (1hr45).
