About the home

This newly built European style bungalow has a large open plan Lounge, dining area and pool table area with absolutely everything you need for entertainment and relaxation for your perfect holiday.

Many houses in Pattaya have their gardens and swimming pool in the front or side of the house. This bungalow has the pool in the rear of the property which gives you total privacy from neighbours and people passing by.

Relax during the day around the pool and enjoy a sizzling BBQ. For your evening entertainment in your holiday home, enjoy the latest movies on the huge 50 inch TV. Or play pool on the full size pool Table (8’6” x 4’6”) while listening to music CD’s, cassette tapes or the local radio station on the stereo.

All of our bed mattresses are of a high quality European standard and are actually soft and comfortable, unlike the majority of mattresses you usually find in Thailand.

The dining area and two of the bedrooms have views of the pool. The large master bedroom comes with a Queen size bed, (6ft wide) en-suite bathroom including a bath with shower, hand basin & WC. The second bathroom has a shower, hand basin & WC. The bath & showers have hot and cold water.

The bedroom with the two single beds is great for teenagers who don’t want to share a double bed.

Further details outdoors:
The garden surrounding the pool is totally private for sunbathing and has an outdoor shower to cool off under and easy for a quick wash before and after a nice refreshing swim. Or when you want some shade from the hot midday sun, relax on the patio terrace just by the poolside. Enjoy a refreshing swim whenever you want, without the restrictions of hotels limited swimming times.

A convenience store is less than a 4 minute walk from the bungalow which stocks many of your day to day basic items including alcoholic beverages. Also, just minutes away next to the communal pool is a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant serving delicious Thai food, pizza's and English food.

The bungalow is located in a secure estate with CCTV and 24 hour security and also has a 20x10 meter communal pool set in its own gardens with toilet and shower facilities and a well equipped communal gymnasium just a short walk away.

Guided tours can be arranged as an optional extra for a small charge.

There is an internet café just 3 minutes walk from the holiday home so you can connect to your laptop.

Mobile broadband is also available for using a laptop in the bungalow which can be purchased for a small cost.

The East Thailand / Chon Buri Province region

Central Thailand is a region of Thailand, covering the broad alluvial plain of the Chao Phraya River. It is separated from North-East Thailand (Isan) by the Phetchabun mountain range, and another mountain range separates it from Myanmar to the west. In the north it gently changes into the hillier Northern Thailand. The area was the heartland of the Ayutthaya kingdom, and is still the dominant area of Thailand. Central Thailand contains the Thai capital of Bangkok. Central Thailand is the most populated region in the country.

Pattaya climate. There are three distinct seasons in Pattaya. The cooler season from November to February, (but never cold) the hot season (April to May), and the rainy season (June to October)

Thailand lies within the humid tropics and remains hot throughout the year.

Pattaya, Thailand’s original tourist resort with a heady mix of naughty night-life, great restaurants, sunny beaches, curious attractions, family friendly leisure parks and good value shopping. Just 90 minutes from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, this lively city is a multi cultural destination with everything you want for an exciting holiday.

The activities available include, water sports, para-sailing, jet skiing, bungee-jumping, elephant riding, deep-sea, shore and freshwater fishing, scuba diving, sailing, swimming in the pool or the sea, golf, go karting, polo, gyms and fitness training, shopping, cycling, bowling, running, tennis, snooker, shooting, archery, cooking courses, yoga, kick boxing, tai chi, meditation, beauty and relaxation spas, tropical gardens, nearby islands with crystal clear water, water park, or just walking by the sea. The choice is never ending!

Of course there are discos and hundreds of bars and restaurants for your evening entertainment. A trip to Pattaya would not be complete without a visit to the world famous Walking Street.

Jomtien & Pattaya sightseeing. Pattaya Park Tower is the first and highest seaside tower with a revolving restaurant 240 meters high with breathtaking views of the Pattaya and Jomtien coastline. There is also a fantastic water park which is a great day out for everyone. Pattaya Park Tower is located between Pattaya & Jomtien.

Your holiday may not be complete without a trip to Koh Larn. Only 45 minutes from Pattaya by boat, the island has beautiful white sand, and clear blue swimming water. A day trip here is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the Pattaya town while still offering good facilities and activities. You can relax on the beach, or go swimming, snorkelling, water skiing, or even parasailing. There are also several decent restaurants serving a variety of cuisine.

There is so much to see and do in and around Pattaya you really need to stay here for a few weeks to see it all.

Houses around Pattaya and Jomtien.
Pattaya and Jomtien beach areas are made up of large hotels and condo buildings, so there are very few houses or bungalows within walking distance to the beach. One of our other holiday homes is one of the very few that is just 2 minutes walk to the beach, and about 2 minutes to the nearest bars and restaurants.

From Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport, Pattaya is just 90 minutes journey by taxi. If required, we can organize a private taxi at a special price to meet you at the airport and bring you safely, without hassle, direct to your holiday home where you will be greeted by us with a traditional Thai welcome drink.

Car rental is available locally but is NOT for the timid or recommended as the locals on motorbikes and in cars can make driving here a very dangerous experience. If you have an accident here the police will attend and you as a foreigner will almost certainly be at fault, not the Thai person! Any damage costs can add considerable expense to your holiday.

Apart from that parking in Pattaya is extremely difficult as there are so many cars here, so finding a parking space is never easy and you usually end up walking a long way from the car to your destination anyway.

TRANSFERS
We can arrange return transfers from the airport or Bangkok to take you direct to your holiday home. The company we use knows exactly where the holiday home is, so no getting lost.

This makes your journey easier as there are many taxis in the airport looking for people arriving who they try to overcharge.

We also have a reliable local taxi service that picks you up from the house for a fair price for the short trip to the centre and nightlife.

Our family had a fantastic holiday at Baan Worachat and the owners couldn’t have done more to make our stay a memorable one. They arranged our transfers from the airport and back which saved us getting hassled with touts at the airport who try to overcharge you.

The holiday home is fully equipped and has a large European kitchen with all the appliances you could ever need. The totally private swimming pool and gardens are great, and the full size pool table kept us busy whenever we weren’t outside enjoying the sun.

Excellent villa, well worth the cost. The location was perfect, not far from the centre but away from the noise and pollution that you get in the centre. Last year we stayed in a villa that claimed to be 10 minutes walk to the beach but was not. We later realised that all you get near the beach are the larger hotels and condos. Do not believe if you are told you can walk to the beach from any rental house. A & G

Great villa at a great price and not located in the middle of nowhere. Some friends of ours rented a villa last year and when they were going back late at night they were stopped on the road and mugged. The problem was that the villa they stayed in was that it was so far away from any inhabited area which is a common problem when renting if you don’t know exactly where the villa is located. - Alan.
