The Central Thailand region
The Eastern Seaboard in Chonburi province has coral islands, beautiful beaches, excellent sports facilities, and a wealth of tourist attractions, most of which are located at Pattaya or Rayong. Further along the coast are the towns of Chantaburi and Trat with secluded beaches with white sands and clear waters. For the more adventuresome it is possible to take a side trip into Cambodia

Right on the beach! Cross the beach road and take a deckchair to watch the ocean sunset while sipping a beer. Jomtien beach has night floodlights making it a 24 hour beach and many beach restaurants & bars. Many local & international golf courses within the Pattaya region, easily reached via the many transport services and tour shops along the beachfront. Distance to neighbouring Pattaya beach approx 10 mins drive. Public transport via bus or open taxi opposite the front gate.

Lou, Australia: "Two-bedroom apartments to accommodate family travellers seemed hard to find on internet searches in the Jometien/Pattaya area. This was one of only a few options but proved to be a great find. The manager answered all our queries via email before arrival and despite our worries about arriving from Bangkok in the early hours of the morning, we were welcomed by security staff and quickly settled in our apartment. The apartment was beautifully decorated and provided everything we needed for our stay. The pool and gym area are great, a welcome sanctuary from the hustle and bustle outside the gate. The main Jomtien beach is just across the road. There are several convenience stores for supplies within 100-metres walk, plus restaurants serving Thai and Western food. There is a laundry just around the corner. Pattaya itself is just a 10 baht ride away. We hope to be back one day and highly recommend the apartments. The friendly Irish manager is a plus! and his coffee shop nearby is a great spot to relax. It has free internet access and a good supply of books in English." The manager, security, and servicepersons was god and polite, and we had very nice stay."
