The villa is situated in Hora which is the main town of Patmos, this is a Unesco attraction with its famous Monastery of St John plus the place where Revelations was written. The island has many attractions and outstanding beauty. Great unspoilt beaches plenty of good restaurants.

The property was recently restored however maintains its character and charm and all the comforts of a home. There is a very friendly maid who will cook you breakfast and make the room. There is plenty of space for entertaining.

There is no airport which has kept the charm and tranquillity of the island however getting there needs good planning which we will assist you with.

The Aegean Islands region

The property is situated in the historical town of Hora within close proximity to the Monastery. The town is a UNESCO site and has been very well preserved. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and plenty of outstanding views overlooking the island.

Patmos

Great walks along the numerous paths around the villa, places of interest include the Monastery of St John, plenty of exhibitions, the caves of the Apocalypse. Easter is an important time for the island with plenty of ceremonies and the famous washing of the feet.

Then for the more sporty the island is littered with all types of beaches and plenty of water sports. You can hire a fishing boat to take you around the island and its neighbouring smaller island's.
