About the home

Situated on a small farm in a beautiful rural location, the Barn provides high quality accommodation full of character and original features.
The ground floor is wonderfully spacious and comfortable with many thoughtful touches to make your stay a home from home experience.
On the first floor there three double bedrooms (one en suite) and the house bathroom, all with original oak beams
Outside there is a BBQ and seating area which have spectacular views over the dale and pick up all the afternoon and evening sun

Dowgill Barn is ideally situated for enjoying the Yorkshire Dales countryside and is close to the elegant spa town of Harrogate and historic York. Nidderdale is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a wealth of stunning scenery: lakes, hills, moor and farmland.
Other attractions less than a 30 minute drive include, Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks, How Stean gorge, Bolton Abbey and Ripon, in addition to the almost unlimited network of footpaths which provide great walking.
