The Mallorca/Majorca region

Paseo Maritimo, Majorca / La Llonja area
A dual carriageway with numerous underground car parks along its length, it starts in the west from Paseo Mallorca, and swings round in a semi-circle and joins the sea front to the east. This area roughly defines Palma Old Town.
Palma Cathedral and the Almudaina Palace are the most popular tourist hot spots in this area and the nearby Arab baths and Museum of Mallorca are also worth a visit.
The No 50 Tourist Sightseeing Bus is an excellent option to get around Palma Mallorca. A must see on this route is Bellver Castle and the Spanish Village (Pueblo Espanyol) If you are coming to Palma Majorca directly and not visiting for the day from a nearby resort, you will need somewhere to stay. You will not be disappointed. On the main road, below Palma Cathedral, with the sea behind you, walk about 100 yards to the left and you will see La Lonja.... ...the large Gothic building with towers at each corner, is situated on the right hand side of a tree lined road (Passeig de Sagrera) next to a Small Plaza.
How to get there
From UK there are a wide range of low cost airlines flying to Mallorca. From the airport to the apartment a 15 min taxi will carry you comfortable to the same door for about 20 euros.
