"The Worst Experience"

Hi there about my opinion for the condo honestly it was the worst experience I have ever had .first of all, I booked the condo on August,3 then the owner of the condo sent me an email about transferri… More

This is an unfair evaluation since you yourself is the architect of this SNAFU, by neglecting your responsibilities as well. Allow me to refresh your memory. When you booked this unit, you sent an unusual request of asking for services to "surprise" your wife. We assumed then,that you have'nt understood the meaning of a self-catering condo/apartment, hence we fired several e-mails to enlighten you so that you could act accordingly. We told you that we dont offer any other services,amenities and conveniences aside from the one listed in the site. We however told you that my brother-in law, drives a NAIA taxicab that you could use , just in case you need one. we emphasized that it was not ours,and it is not compulsory, but we could vouch for them security wise., We sent a lot of e-mails again to clarify,emphasize and elucidate you that this was a self catering condo/apartment.. You didn't reply.We assumed that you have understood everything. We e-mailed you, and asked what your flight details would be, again not one email, but several ,up to the day before your reply. We duly prepared the unit, however we always do the final preparation an hour before the arrival of the guest so that the room had already been cooled and any minor things sorted.Since it is a self-catering unit and not a manned hotel, we cannot speculate on your time of arrival which may turn out to be from day 1 up to the last day., hence this information was essential.. We never had any guest who didn't reply or confirm their time of arrival. You have never got in touch with the numbers that we gave you via e-mail, the same people that would assist you, hence, it was a surprise when you turn up at the gate of the resort. You sir did'nt follow instructions. It was the guards that informed us of your arrival not you.. You sir arrived on your own accord, you were fetched from the airport by YOUR FRIENDS. JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR WE DID'NT NOR ANY OF OUR PEOPLE BROUGHT YOU FROM THE AIRPORT.NO 500-600 PHP WAS PAID TO US OR ANY OF OUR PEOPLE AS WHAT WAS MADE TO APPEAR ON YOUR EVALUATION. You then, upon arrival of the helpers were made to wait for 30 minutes so that they could finalize the preparation, this could have been avoided by just a text or a courteous reply on e-mails. You even asked the helpers to buy you pizza which they did even if this is not one of their job. Upon going up you mentioned that you did'nt like the unit because of the color of the towels and its "dirty"( a bit of dust on one of the table). You commented about mosquito which there were about 2 , understable with the philippines in a tropical country.To get a real perspective we called from England , your companion who brought you from the airport which you said was your friend ,and asked directly from them if the unit was really that unacceptable, which he replied "NO,he was just being awkward!", he even commented that the unit was beautiful, what the other person with him said"maganda naman ah!". We were told that you would be staying at the unit for a night and then along with your friend look for another one later. WE did not ask you to stay for 1 night, it was you who offered, thru your friend. We tried very hard to resolve your complaint, but it seems that you have already made up your mind. You had made a mistake of booking a self-catering unit when what you really wanted was a full serviced hotel. You sir did'nt even gave the courtesy of replying to our e-mails, and phone calls.We called your companions/friends who again said that you are just being a bit picky, "MASELAN" is the word your companion said and we were assured by them that the unit was as it was advertised. We accepted the fact that the unit was refused not on the basis of false advertising or reason of inhabitability but just on your whim. You forgot to mention as well that we have to penalise you for smoking on the premises, rendering it unusable by the next client because we have to have the air conditioning serviced, curtains washed to rid of the cigarette smells. Contracts like what you have entered to ,is like a dance, we both have duties and resposibilities to make things work, but you sir reneged on yours big time and then expecting everything to fall into place. Its bad enough that you have unfairly judged the unit and the efforts of our people. But portraying us as trying to pull a fast one on you in your opening sentences was quite unacceptable. We accept criticisms and comments but we cannot accept false accusation being impugned on us. WE put our hands up if mistakes were made by us and we try very hard to resolve complaints, to make the stay of our guest as comfortable and as nice as we can ..But in this case we really can't accept it because the review was not only unfair but it is misleading and deceptive.
