Parthenay area
The village of Lageon sits between the historic towns of Thouars and Parthenay in the valley of the Thouet river. Both towns have medieval districts of architectural and artistic interest but boast modern facilities including supermarkets,bars, bistros and restaurants and a newly opened swimming complex in Parthenay. For the more sports minded holidaymaker there is the River Thouet which is famous with anglers and the Pescalis at Moncoutant is an added bonus, golf courses are also nearby. The village has a bar/restaurant just 500 metres from the house and a mobile bakery visits every day.
How to get there
By Road..... Choose a chanel port ,access the autoroute network and head south towards Bordeaux or Poitiers.
By Rail.........Travel Eurostar to Liille or Paris then take the TGV Atlantique to Poitiers where you can hire a car.
By Air............Fly Ryanair,Flybe or Easyjet to Poitiers or La Rochelle

Further details indoors: The fully fitted kitchen has a large dining area which comfortably seats 8. The spacious lounge has a fire for those chillly evenings. The expansive bathroom has a separate wet room as well as a bath, WC, bidet and 2 hand basins. The four bedrooms are all situated on the first floor off a large and airy landing.
Further details outdoors: There is ample seating for 8 people to dine al-fresco on the sun terrace with a large table and chairs, picnic table, benches as well as a sizeable stone BBQ . The secure courtyard has sufficient parking for several cars.
