The Aegean Islands region
This is a group of beautiful islands in the Aegean Sea and are divided onto seven groups: Northeastern Aegean Islands, Sporades, Euboea, Argo-Saronic Islands, Cyclades, Dodecanese (Southern Sporades) and the famous Crete.
All of them have a stunning scenery, from rugged coast line to sandy beaches, small and secluded bays and an abundance of wildlife.
The traditional villages are scattered around and in many places the style and way of living haven't changed for years adding more charm and character to those beautiful islands.
Paros / Antiparos area
Antiparos is a small quite island just off the coast off Paros with boats running every half hour. Plenty off walks not to mention the well known caves.
Plenty of boat journeys to all the major islands, but very relaxing to lazy around with different beaches to find your one secluded sandy spot.
There is a good deep sea diving school, fishing and boating as well as wind surfing on Paros.
How to get there
Fly to Athens then fly direct to Paros or get local bus to the port Piraeus buy boat ticket on Blue Star or others. There are quick and slow boats from 2.45 to 5.00hrs.
Get off at Paros catch small boat to Anti-paros which always meets large ferries. At Antiparos it is only 5 minutes walk to the apartment.
If flying get taxi to Pounda port for 5 minute journey to island then 5 minute walk to the apartment.
