The Bicycle House Stone Apartment is part of a large villa, the private home of the owners. Set on the west coast of the island it gives the most wonderful sunset and sea views. Every evening the Paros light, much loved by artists and photographers, will present a unique experience, sometimes clear and sharp, sometimes soft, but always beautiful.
Romantic couples, young families, or mature travellers, we and Paros can offer something for everyone. Sun, beaches, history, water sports, walking or cycling. Whatever your interest you will find it here.

Paros offers all that you can want for an easy relaxed lifestyle to help you unwind from the stresses of modern life. Young or old, active or relaxed, you will find want you need here.
Paros / Petaloudes area
Petaloudes means butterfly valley, a haven for those beautiful creatures just a few hundred metres away. Beaches to just lie or to learn or practise water sports. The 2008 Kiteboarding World Pro Tour stopped here at the beach just below the Bicycle House. Tavernas with traditional food and good company. Throughout the summer there are traditional festivals in villages around the island, free food and drink and dancing displays. Mix with the locals! Dates vary we can give you details on request.
How to get there
Fly to Athens with Olympic*, BA, Easyjet, Aegean etc. Small plane with Olympic* to Paros 35 minute journey (3 minutes from Bicycle House) or ferry from Piraeus Athens to Parikia (10 minutes from Bicycle House) 4 hour journey standard ferry, 2.5 hours Highspeed.
There is a transfer bus between Athens airport and Piraeus-X96 approx 3.5 euro, or taxi about 50 euro, time approx 1 hour).
In high season you could fly to Mykonos and then short ride ferry to Paros.
*If you fly Olympic you can often book straight through to Paros (Your luggage will be transferred automatically)
If you want to rent a car on Paros we can arrange for it to be waiting at the airport/port.

Further details indoors: We call this apartment "Stone" because our interior design plan was to concentrate on natural materials such as stone floors and surfaces in a warm ochre colour, complemented by fabric wall hangings. Unusually for this region we have included a large bath tub (with shower) using ecological solar heated water. All equipment, bed linen, towels you need for your holiday are provided (even beach towels on request). Travel light and enjoy more!
Further details outdoors: Your apartment and private garden are fully self contained within the glorious gardens of the Villa Bicycle House. There is a shaded patio with furniture and a large barbeque built from local stone. A truly beautiful location on the west of the island with amazing sunset views. Your garden and the gardens of the main house are maintained through the hottest months of the year by using only recycled water.

The owners live on site in the main house and are available to help in any way. We grow our own organic vegetables and keep free range chickens for their eggs, you can sample these subject to availability. English, French and Italian spoken. We provide a welcome pack to help you cater for your first day, and there is an excellent local supermarket 400 metres from the house with beautiful fresh bread from the local baker twice a day.
