3 bedroomed villa, old built in traditional style, on the stunning island of Paros in the heart of the Cyclades islands. One of a small terrace of four townhouses with a shared outdoor swimming pool the villa has beautiful sea views and is only 1.5 km from the nearest beach. Can also be booked with the nearby Luka Apartment (48144), thus sleeping up to 8 persons. The village of Aspro Chorio, in which the villa is situated, is a very quiet traditional Greek Village and would suit those looking for a peaceful 'get way from it all' type of holiday. However the town of Drios is only 5 minutes drive away and has a range of tavernas and shops and the port of Parakia is a half hour drive. Although the villa is situated in a peaceful spot those looking for a more active holiday would find the lively 'Pounda Beach' area only 15-20 minutes away and plenty of watersport activities to be had at the nearby Golden Beach.
Paros itself is centrally located within the Cyclades island making it an ideal spot to 'island hop' . Naxos is very close by and Santorini is only 2 hours away. Paros is easily accessed from Athens via the Blue Star Ferries and Athens airport is serviced by cheap flights via Easy Jet. During the high season you can get flights direct to Mykonos or Santorini and a ferry from there.

Paros / Aspro Horio area
Paros is known as the island of light. and lies roughly at the centre of the Cyclades between Naxos and Sifnos and is 90 nautical miles from Piraeus, Athens. The coastline is steep and rocky broken up by beautiful golden sandy beaches the best of which lie on the eastern coastline ( where the villa is situated). Steeped in history going back to at least a 1000 years before the birth of Christ, Paros is a fascinating island to visit. There is also plenty to tempt the active with watersports and nightlife on offer too. A great website to visit is www.parosweb.com which gives lots of information on Paros life.
How to get there
Easy Jet offer budget flights to Athens and you can book online at www.easyjet.com. It is then a short taxi ride to Piraeus Port where you can pick up a Blue Star Ferry to the Island of Paros. Tickets can be booked at www.bluestarferries.com and be picked up from the office at the Port. The ferry takes about three to four hours and is a very relaxing way to begin your holiday.
There is also a bus that runs from the Airport to the Port, the X96, which takes about an hour but is cheaper than a taxi or alternatively you could consider the metro train.
Once in Paros it is about half an hour to the villa by car and there is a car rental company just opposite the gates of the port as you disembark. There are also buses that can take you to a stop two minutes away from the house itself. Full directions to the house can be given on each enquiry. Alternatively, you can fly direct to the island of Santorini and the ferry will take about two hours to Paros.

Further details indoors: The villa is a traditional blue and white 'sugar cube' townhouse with open fires, marble floors and a jacuzzi bathroom. Set in a very peaceful spot it has fantastic 180o views of the sea from the main bedroom balcony. It sleeps 6 comfortably, 8 with a sofabed or by booking the nearby Luka apartment.There is a small shop 2 minutes down the road and the bus stop is outside. The bus will take you into the main town of Parakia.
