This beautiful log cabin is situated within easy walking distance of the Baltic Sea and offers opportunities for relaxation amongst the unique natural surroundings of Western Estonia.
The cabin affords spacious accommodation for up to five guests and would be ideal for those seeking tranquillity with the option of local activities.
The area provides unparalleled opportunities for birdwatching and still harbours wildlife long extinct in Western Europe. During summer, the balmy days lend themselves to swimming (200m), horse riding and golf, all within walking distance or an easy drive. The reliable winter snows produce a very special atmosphere - try cross-country skiing or coastal walks along the frozen sea! At the end of the day, relax with a sunset drink on the south facing terrace or warm up in front of the wood burning stove. A wonderful destination for any time of year.

The West Estonia region
Tahkuranna is a small hamlet located just 15mins south of Parnu, the spa town popular for centuries as Estonia's "Summer Capital". Parnu is a fine example of the beautiful Hanseatic settlements which dominate the Baltic Coast and is well connected to both Tallinn and Riga.
It enjoys a rich cultural life as well as a respectable spread of cafes, restaurants and bars. Summers are clement and the beach is one of the finest in the region. Further afield, the national parks of Soomaa and Matsalu provide exceptional bird and wildlife opportunities; the primeval forests and other-worldly bogs still support healthy populations of species such as the bear, lynx, beaver, moose and wolf. The mushroom and berry harvest is bountiful in late summer/ autumn.
Parnu / Tahkuranna area
More locally, there are beautiful walks along the coast and a very private sandy swimming beach within 200m of the cabin.
Wildlife sightings from the cabin include roe deer, hare, corncrakes, white storks, cranes and white-tailed eagles, as well as beautiful flocks of goldfinches and buntings. Don't worry though - you won't have bears raiding the bin unless you're very lucky!
How to get there
The cabin lies on the Baltic Sea with easy access from both Tallinn (130km) and Riga (145km). Fly to Tallinn with Easyjet and to Riga with Ryanair. All major car hire companies operate from the airports. A detailed map will be provided on booking.
