Close to 45 square meters, the apartment is spacious by Parisian standards. There is a large living room, separate kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom.
In the living room you have a large sofa (converts into a bed for 2 people), and dining area for up to 4 people.
In the bedroom there is a large queen size bed (160cm x 200cm).
In the bathroom there is a sophisticated glass-enclosed shower.
The kitchen is furnished with the latest, high-efficiency appliances for cooking.

What I really like about my apartment is how quiet it is because the building on the other side of the courtyard blocks any street noise. It is located close to Gare Saint Lazare, so basically in the center of the city but the birds wake you up each and every morning !
The Ile-de-France region
Paris is called the City of Light, and is one of the most romantic cities in the world. Here you'll find the world's center of culture, art, fashion and cuisine. See the famous vacation sights in Paris that inspired great literature, painters of genius, stunning architecture and parks. Breathtaking beauty is everywhere you look. The French have an expression, "joie de vivre," which means joy of living, zest, and enthusiasm. Parisians know how to take time to savor the joy in every moment. Your vacation in Paris will introduce you to French joie de vivre.
'Le village des Batignolles' reminds me my village in Southern France. It is very safe and quiet. There is no traffic and neighbours are nice and helpful. There is even an outdoor market every week end.

"Privacy and comfort within easy reach of the Paris highlights"
On arrival we were greeted by the property mananger and talked through the very spacious apartment faciities which included TV, internet and a fully equipped kitchen on top of all that you would normally expect. Alan, the property manager knew the area well and described local shopping and transport access accompanied by a map. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable and only a short walk from buses and a choice of 2 metro stations or even walking distance to some of the closest attractions of Paris. A great base, well placed for a very pleasurable city break.

"perfect location, perfect apartment, would definitely stay there again!"
"This is a comfortable, conveniently located apartment in a great neighborhood with bakeries, grocery stores, parks, schools, several metro stops. The apartment is large, kitchen well equipted, internet access, quiet, clean and really just awesome in every way. I was able to get to and from the congress center where the meeting was held as well as all over the city using the metro. It was so pleasant to be away from the main tourist areas and spend the week in a neighborhood. Alan took very good care to meet me at the apartment on arrival and was available should issues arise. However, everything worked and i had no need to pester him! I would definately stay here again and recommend it to you!"

"Lovely flat but unpleasant 'welcome'"
This was a lovely flat, with free wifi which meant the kids could phone home to reassure mum that they weren't going too wild with granny. There was plenty of space and it was well equipped and pleasantly decorated. It's near a big supermarket, excellent boulangerie/patisseries and a selection of reasonably priced restaurants. there's even a park round the corner with playspaces for small and older children. It was also the quietest accomodation I've ever stayed in there as it is across a courtyard past another building. The metro was a 10 minute walk away. However I would not stay there again as the welcome was highly unpleasant. Having said that we would arrive at nine, when we actually reached the flat at five past I was asked where we had got to and why we hadn't contacted him when we arrived (on Eurostar). Well we had tried and couldn't get a signal, presumably due to being surrounded by tall buildings as I had received the usual welcome message from the phone company. We sorted that out but when I got home found an email sent at 21.01 to say he was leaving as he didn't live there and that we would lose our deposit. Given that things can go wrong with the best planned travel arrangements and that it is not always possible to get a message through when travelling, I would not book this place again and can't recommend it.
First of all I would like to say that this review has almost nothing to do with the apt itself. The reviewer admits that it was only written after she returned home and saw that I had written an email asking this person where she was and stating that I couldn't wait around all night wondering if she had arrived in Paris or not (we live an hour away). We ask all guests to please contact us upon arrival in Paris. She did not do this. When this guest arrived at the apt, she indicated to me that her grand-daughter was feeling motion sickness after the train journey and so they had decided to walk to the apt rather than taking a taxi or the metro system to come to the apt. They had arrived in Paris over an hour previously and this was why I was wondering why they hadn't called or texted me. Upon arrival at the apt I mentioned that all's well that ends well and thought that was the end of it. Unfortunately, when she returned home and saw my email she took it as a personal insult. I could understand this review if I had not waited at the apt for the guests to arrive but I did wait and they apparently found the apt to their liking. This review is about the guest's criticism of the greeter and has nothing to do with the apt.

"At home in Paris"
The apartment is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The greeter who met us was most helpful, showing us how internet, tv, etc. worked. We called him if we had questions and he was prompt to respond. There is a convenient laundromat next door. We have stayed in the Batignolles area several times, and it is our favorite neighborhood. There is a large covered market, also many cafes, restaurants and small shops. The Square des Batignolles just down the street is the perfect place to enjoy the lovely garden, the colorful waterfowl, and people watch. We look forward to our return to this apartment.
