Design shops, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, banks, bus and tube stations, everything is within walking distance. The apartment has a very charming kitchen decorated with 17th century tiles, dining room decorated with original paintings, and is furnished with a sofa which is also actually a convertible double bed and a flat screen TV, one bedroom with one real double queen size bed, in suite (with a door for more privacy) with a stylish mosaic decorated bathroom (shower, sink and toilet). Le Marais is a neighborhood steeped in history and charm. Le Marais is the closest you will get to the feel of medieval Paris and has more pre-revolutionary buildings and streets left intact than any other area in Paris

The Marais is also known for its numerous art galleries and design shops..One thing is certain, you can't go to Paris and skip the Marais. It's very similar in feel to the West Village or Soho in Manhattan, with a different architecture of course, but the small crooked medieval lanes are alive with bars, restaurants, hotels, high and low fashion boutiques, trendy shops, hip designers, old fashioned bread shops, jewelry, wine shops, fashionable art galleries and museums all crammed into one small area.

"Nice Location, Quaint Location"

Instructions to get there were good. Nice guy met us downstairs and took us up to the 4th floor apartment. It was quaint but small, with v low ceilings - where I bumped my head despite the warning!N… More

Dear member of TripAdvisor

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your recent stay in my property.

I am concerned with the satisfaction of my guests and your feedback is of great value to me.

I am very happy to know that you have enjoyed your stay as well as our great location in the Marais, the most authentic and charming area in Paris.

I strive to improve the quality of the services I offer to my guests.

The fridge is cleaned after every guest of course as well as the rest of the apartment.

However, most of our guests do enjoy having some basic food or drinks such as milk, water, coffee or bread available in the fridge when they arrive after a tiring journey. For this reason, we do leave them for the new guests whenever they are still fresh for consumption. I am sorry that you took that for a negligence as this is usually something our guests do appreciate.

I am sorry to hear that you bumped your head in a beam. My property has been decorated with specific attention to details. I am sure you enjoyed the artists' paintings, the sculptures and the authentic finishes.

As such, we decided to conserve the authentic beams (shown on pic) that are part of the Parisian and historic feel that cannot be found elsewhere.

I provide a genuine and personal experience in the most exclusive and authentic area in Paris at a very reasonable price. Extra large rooms with cathedral ceilings may be found in a few luxury hotels and mansions in Paris for sure but like everywhere else in the world the budget will be significantly higher.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to write your feedback and help us maintain high quality services.

Sincerely
Bjork
