"Nearly perfect for one person..."
This was the perfect location for me with the Metro 2 blocks away and for trains, Gare Montparnasse in the opposite direction but walkable. There are several grocery stores nearby as well.Room was am… More
This must be a misunderstanding. We offer not at all a concierge service for our guests. The residents of the building offer to themselves the luxuty to have a concierge in the house, but she has nothing to do with our letting. She is very very kind and would help in urgencies. But she is not at all in service for our guests. In case you need any help or you have a question, you have the contact details of the person to call or email to. Apologies if I didn't explain this in detail. Houserules are very strict. If you prefer a private rental instead of living in a hotel, you accept being surrounded by your French neighbours living there all time. If one of them has a birthday party once on a Saturday night, which was gently announced in the staircase, it might not be comfortable, especially if it happens just above your bedroom, but I fear that I am not at all in the position to forbid anything like that in the residence. I admit that tenants and residents do not have the same rights in everything. The other way round it would have been an issue. To the point that our apartment is a little tight for four: I guess it depends on what you are used to. For Parisian standards 56 m2 in this neighbourhood for the tarif we let, is quite spacious. Greetings and thank you.

Perfect place for a getaway weekend or a full week stay. Very good location with plenty of cafés and restaurants to choose from. Property manager is very helpful and nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Great location - Ideally sanctuary"
We stayed for 3 nights in March 2014 and below is the overview of our stay, which was very enjoyable.
We arrived on Monday afternoon and was met at the property by the owner 'Berit'. She was extremely welcoming and mentioned that although she did not live close by, she and the concierge were happy to help with any information or requests during our stay.
The location is perfect. From Gare Du Nord (Eurostar) it took 25 mins to get to Rue Du Bac (one change from RER to metro (Train line E and Metro 12)). The apartment is just 3 mins walk from the Metro.
The street itself is quiet at night and during the day it has a nice Parisian feel too it. There are some very nice Patisserie's and cafes on the street - with the Grand Epicure food hall just 5 mins walk away.
The apartment itself was immaculate. All appliances were brand new, however we did not use the kitchen due to eating out. There was no television (mentioned in the property details) but this did not matter as the wifi internet connection was so good.
Lovely shower and relaxing deep bath, and separate W/C.
The bedroom was a light and airy space. The bed offered a great night sleep. It was large (joined singles) and comfortable to our liking (medium to firm).
We had a great time in Paris, not least because the apartment offered a glimpse into Parisian lifestyle. I would sincerely recommend renting an apartment for any stay in the city, and this one has to be up there with the best for value, location and quality.
(on a different note, and not reviewed by ourselves, we ate at Marguerite and Di Como during our stay and both were excellent and worth booking)
