Paraty / Corumbe Beach area

Although it's a small town there is always something going on in Paraty. In addition to the better known Carnival, New Year and Easter celebrations Paraty's busy calendar of cultural and religious events means there is always something going on. Why not plan your trip to coincide with Paraty's International Literary Festival? The Gastronomy festival? Or Paraty´s Sea Carnival? Alternatively, come in low season (April to June) and enjoy the warm sunny days when you will have the beaches and islands to yourself.
In addition to history, culture and outstanding natural beauty Paraty also offers a wide range of activities including schooner trips of the bay, eco-tours, hiking in the rainforest, ocean kayaking, horseriding and scuba diving.
The house is located in a small, exclusive condominium directly on the peaceful, sandy Corumbe beach, known as the ‘Golden Mile’ of the ‘Green Coast’. Shallow and with no waves this is a very safe beach for younger kids to play on. There is a buoy for boats in front of the house and boat trips can be arranged with a local boatman to explore the numerous islands and beaches of the bay of Paraty. Amongst the locals Corumbe is known for having one of the best beach bar restaurants in Paraty offering superb seafood dishes that are typical of the region.
If what you want from a holiday is to feel totally relaxed and chilled out, with the option to experience a whole range of activities this Villa on Corumbe beach is for you.
How to get there
Fly to Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo - Paraty is just 250 - 300 km from the airport. Car hire or private transfer available - no more than 200 euros Buses run regularly between the Rio or São Paulo and Paraty. There are always local taxis available at bus station Paraty - fare should be no more than 15 euros until the Beach Villa wich is 6km from town
