A12 Chara Cynthia is a stylish, modern 1 bedroom apartment comfortably accomodating 1-4 people. The apartment benefits from split airconditioning units throughout - allowing both cooling air during the hot weather, and heating for cooler weather.

Sliding glass patio doors lead out to a large balcony, with not too distant sea views. The apartment also has double glazed windows throughout.

A cot is also available if required.

This apartment has sunshine from sunrise until sunset.

Excellently located between the traditional town of Paralimni and Kapparis, there is a good selection of shops, bars, restaurants and traditional tavernas just five minutes away. There is a 24 hour bakers/patesserie at the top of the road and a local fruit market and a large, modern supermarket are within a few minutes walk; and traditional local handicraft shops, alongside modern boutiques, can be found in the centre of Paralimni.

A couple of minutes walk from the apartment will lead you to the main road. Turning right there is a bustop opposite (which runs to the main resort areas of Pernera, Protaras, Cape Creco and Ayia Napa.) There is also a chemist, bank, local fruit market, 24 hour bakers, small mini market a few bars and local tavernas and a large, modern supermarket and a church.

If you turn left a 10-15minute walk will take you into the traditional town of Paralimni, with its 3 churches, bank, chemist, local handicraft and souvenir shops and modern boutiques, with a selection of coffee bars and local tavernas overlooking a central square and water feature.

Buses are cheap - approximately 1,20 Euros to the resorts of protaras and Ayia Napa. Taxis are also readily available and affordable

In contrast, beautiful 'Fig Tree Bay' and the picturesque 'Cape Greco' are just a 10-15 minute car drive away; and a selection of reputedly some of the best sandy beaches on the island are just 5-10 minutes away, making this a lovely and convenient location for a relaxing family holiday; ideal for couples, friends and families of all ages.

A 24hr Bakery has just opened at the top of the road - selling cakes, pies and absolutely fabulous bread

The apartment is spacious bright and cheery. There is full air conditioning, however if you prefer electric fans - these are also provided.

An Extra TV Package has been installed which includes 3 channels of non stop films

The Apartment is furnished by a Lift or Stairs if you prefer.

There is also a Special Drinking Water Tap fitted.

Linen and Towels are changed weekly which is included in the cost.

There is also a Welcome Pack to greet you - just in case you have a late or early flight included in the price

.A Babysitting Service is available at very reasonable rates.

Further details outdoors:
The Apartment is located on a Residential Complex and is approximately 1km from the beach. There is a large supermarket approximately 500m, but a 24 hours bakers / patisserie, restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance. Everything is accessible via Bus (at the top of the road) if you prefer not to walk.

A bus ticket is 3 Euros per day to travel anywhere and the buses run into the early hours. Children under 12 years travel free of charge.

Protaras with its lively theme bars is a 5 minute drive and the famous Water Park at Agia Napa is 15 minutes. There is also a Heliport at Agia Napa if you would like to fly over the island.

This part of Cyprus has many sandy beaches and coves to explore like Nissi Beach, Cape Greco to name a few.

Although a Car is not necessary, to see all the beautiful beaches and coves in this region of Cyprus, a car would be an asset.

Please remember it is your responsibility to organise your own travel insurance to cover medical treatment while away.

There are many Taverners, Pool Side Bars and Hotels (open to non-residents) near by. The town of Paralimni is within Walking distance with boutiques , shops, restaurants and Taverners.

Conditions

Sorry, no animals allowed. Although you cannot smoke inside the property - you can smoke on the balcony (please make sure ciagrette butts, etc. are disposed of correctly).

Wheelchair accessible - lift and the doors are wide enough, but there are no rails in place in the bathroom.

To reserve dates, a reservation deposit of £150.00 (GB Pounds) will be required at time of booking.

The balance of the rental cost to be paid a minimum of 8 weeks before occupancy commences. Late bookings, and bookings of less than one week's occupancy are to be paid in full at time of booking.

A Security Deposit of £200 is payable with the balance of rent - this will be refunded within 7 days of your vacating the property providing there are no breakages / damage (normal wear and tear accepted) and the apartment is left clean and tidy and litter removed.

Normally the apartment is available from 16.00 on the day of your arrival and ends at 12.00 noon on the day of your departure, however wherever possible we will try to accommodate late and early arrivals and departures so that you get the most from your time in Cyprus.

The cost includes air conditioning throughout your stay, linen, towels and a welcome pack plus a change of linen and towels if staying for 2 weeks or more.

To allow for flights coming into Cyprus everyday of the week, rental periods can start and end on any day - there is no set changeover day.

The prices quoted are for a week long let, however I can quote for a 4 night stay, 10 days, etc. Please note the cost for a 4 night stay is not the price stated per week divided by 7 x 4, if staying for 4 days or more the villa has to be cleaned and laundered. Just ask me for a quote.

Changeover days are flexible.

The Famagusta region

All year round sunshine There are many sandy beaches and coves to visit. Two water parks in the area, a zoo and an aquatic centre The resort towns of Protaras and Ayia Napa are a short car drive away, or by bus. Buses are cheap - approx. 1,20 Euros. Taxis are also readily available and affordable. An all day Bus Ticket is available for 3 Euros which allows you to travel anywhere and children under 12 travel free of charge. The buses run into teh early hours.

The Paralimni area

There is a local Zoo to visit which also houses a little museum. There are many churches to see - even on the way to the supermarket. The local beach at Agia Trias also has its own little church. South Eastern Cyprus reputedly has some of the best sandy beaches on the island. Places of interest include the Nature Reserve of Cape Greco, the 'Famagusta' viewpoint, museums and monastries. Not too far away are the Troodos Mountains where you can get away from it all all year round and of course in the Winter you can Ski

I can arrange a transfer from Larnaca Airport to the Apartment Complex at reasonable rates (paid locally) for up to 4 at a reasonable rate.

I can also provide car hire (Ford Focus, Honda Civic or Renault Megane) at a cost of £18 per day (inclusive of insurance, etc. - you just have to pay for your petrol). The car is delivered to the apartment and collected from the apartment - the car can be hired for the duration of your holiday or a minimum of 5 days - the car is booked in advance and paid for on delivery in Euros

“Our home from home in Paralimni!” We have used this apartment for 3 years now and will hopefully use it for years to come. It is set in a quiet location but just minutes away there is a wonderful 24 hour bakery, supermarket, bars and restaurants. Excellent bus routes to all destinations and beautiful beaches minutes away. The apartment has everything you need for your stay so it really is like a home from home. Bill is always on hand locally for anything you may need and Lynda is as always very professional and helpful in every way. Response: Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it is much appreciated. The Apartment as you say is in a quiet location but everything is so close including the fabulous 24 hour bakery. The bus service is really good and so cheap to travel with buses running into the early hours. I am so pleased you still love coming to the apartment and you will certainly be most welcome for many years to come and you always know Bill from my Management Team will be there to look after you - thank you for your comments.

“it was brillant” our stay at chara cynthia a12 was exellent you couldnt ask for anything more the place was fab/the views were exellent /supermarkets around the corner and the people so friendly/i would advise renting a car as agia napa is about 15 min drive away and it is so easy to drive in cyprus/all i can say is give it a go you wont go wrong it realy is home away from home every thing you need is in the apartment and when i go to cyprus again which will be soon i will rent the apartment again /the directions i was giving made it so easy to find give it a go it is a nice quite area to get away from the hussel and bussel and relax when you wand noise and madness just drive 15 min down the road to agia napa so you get every thing in one Response: Thank you for taking the time to write a review relating to Apartment A12 Chara Cynthia. “Excellent apartment, ideal location” Ideal location for Protaras, Agia Napa, and Paralimni, also for a trip north to Famagusta. Bus service is regular, though some drivers are a bit on the fast side, and they also carry on through the night until 3 or 4 am so getting back after a night out is ok. I would recommend your own transport for daytime though. Great apartment for a couple, clean and tidy, everything you need. Had a great time, will book the apartment again. “Perfect home away from home for the summer” Excellent location if you have a car, minutes away from beautiful beaches and a slighter longer drive, to the famous resorts of Protaras and Ayia Napa. All local amenities at a short walking distance such as grocery and 24 hour bakery, banks and local tavernas. The apartment is completely equipped with all necessities such as iron, hairdryer and fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, microwave etc. You need not take a single thing to be completely comfortable for a short or long stay. Veranda is comfortable with table, chairs, sunlounger and clothes airer. Very quiet location, that really stood out for us and was important. The rates are based on a weekly stay although I can quote for a 4 night stay, 10 day stay, etc. Please bear in mind for stays less than one week - Cleaning and Laundry charges have to be included no matter how short the stay.

If staying for longer than 3 weeks - special rates are available - you might be house hunting or having an extended holiday - again just ask me!!

Payments from UK residents can be made into any UK bank.

International Payments can be made via IBAN transfer and paid in GBP Sterling or Euros

I can also be paid via PayPal using a Credit Card, but this will incur a 4.5% surcharge (which is what I will be charged by PayPal).

There is no increase in rates for School Half Term or Summer Holidays, Easter, Christmas or New Year

LONG TERM WINTER LETS AVAILABLE (minimum 3 weeks) - from £85 PER WEEK - INCLUDES ALL BILLS with the exception of mid-term linen and towels - can be laundered via separate negotiation (cheaper than paying for your central heating, etc.)

These charges are based on how many days before your booked departure we receive your cancellation notice. These charges are a percentage of the cost of your booking, but do not include Security Deposits* paid.
