Home description

Althea 205 is a stylish, modern 2 bedroom apartment comfortably accomodating 2-6 people. The apartment benefits from split airconditioning units throughout - allowing both cooling air during the hot weather, and heating for cooler weather.

Sliding glass patio doors lead out to a very large, private sun terrace, with not too distant sea views. The apartment also has double glazed windows throughout.

Excellently located between the traditional town of Paralimni and Kapparis, there is a good selection of shops, bars, restaurants and traditional tavernas just five minutes away. A local fruit market and a large, modern supermarket are within a few minutes walk; and traditional local handicraft shops, alongside modern boutiques, can be found in the centre of Paralimni.

In contrast, beautiful 'Fig Tree Bay' and the picturesque 'Cape Greco' are just a 10-15 minute car drive away; and a selection of reputedly some of the best sandy beaches on the island are just 5-10 minutes away, making this a lovely and convenient location for a relaxing family holiday; ideal for couples and families of all ages.

The Famagusta District

South Eastern Cyprus reputedly has some of the best sandy beaches on the island. Places of interest include the Nature Reserve of Cape Greco, the 'Famagusta' viewpoint, museums and monastries.


Paralimni area

The resort towns of Protaras and Ayia Napa are a 10-15 minute car drive away, 20 minutes by bus. Buses are cheap - approx. Eur 1.20. Taxis are also readily available and affordable.


How to get there

Paralimni is situated in the South East of Cyprus - near to Protaras and Ayia Napa.

Fly to Larnaca - Althea 205 apartment in Paralimni is approx 45 km from the airport.

Transfers between the Airport and the apartment can be arranged at a greatly reduced rate than taxis - approx cost per vehicle ( max 6 people + luggage) is Euro 43 each way 8am to 8pm, Euro 48 each way 8pm to 8am. Taxis charge approx Eur 70 to 80 each way. Transfers to be booked in advance but paid direct to driver in Cyprus.

Althea 205 is a very comfortable and spacious apartment. Tastefully furnished throughout; the open plan lounge/dining area comprises double sofa bed and armchair, TV, DVD Player, Music Centre (CD, Tape & Tuner), coffee table and occasional tables, dining table and chairs and a child's highchair; the kitchen is fully fitted and has an electric oven and hob, microwave oven, fridge, washing machine, kettle and toaster, alongwith all the necessary cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The bedrooms are furnished with quality wood framed beds - double bed in main bedroom, 2 single beds in 2nd bedroom - with fitted wardrobes in both bedrooms, alongwith a solid wood dressing table, wood framed mirror and padded stool in the main bedroom, mirror in 2nd bedroom and solid wood bedside tables in both bedrooms. An overhead fanlight in the lounge area and standing fans in both bedrooms compliment the fitted airconditioning units.

The tiled bathroom comprises bath with shower over, wash basin, mirror and wc.

A patio set comprising of table, adjustable parasol & 4 folding chairs, alongwith 4 sunloungers, 2 padded patio chairs and a gas barbecue furnish the very large sun terrace, which basks in the warm Mediterranean sunshire from almost sunrise to sunset - a great place to relax whilst having a 'sundowner'.

The apartment has a dedicated, covered parking space and is reached by either a lift or stairs from the parking area up to the apartment entrance door.


Conditions

To reserve dates, a reservation deposit of £100.00 (GB Pounds) will be required at time of booking. This deposit is non refundable if booking is cancelled by the client. Balance of total rental cost to be paid a minimum of 8 weeks before occupancy commences. Late bookings are to be paid in full at time of booking. Minimum rental period is one full week.

Changeover days are flexible. Check in after 3pm on day of arrival. Check out before 11am on day of departure.

Bookings will not be accepted for all male or all female groups and we reserve the right to refuse entry if such a booking has been made and not disclosed - any monies paid will be forfeited in this case.
