Home description
Chara Althea 104 is a stylish, modern 1 bedroom apartment comfortably accomodating 1-4 people. The apartment benefits from reverse airconditioning units throughout - allowing both cooling air during the hot weather, and heating for cooler weather.
Sliding glass patio doors lead out to a very large balcony. The apartment also has double glazed windows throughout.
Excellently located between the traditional town of Paralimni and Kapparis, there is a good selection of shops, bars, restaurants and traditional tavernas just five minutes away. A local fruit market and a large, modern supermarket are within a few minutes walk; and traditional local handicraft shops, alongside modern boutiques, can be found in the centre of Paralimni.
A couple of minutes walk from the apartment will lead you to the main road. Turning right there is a bustop opposite (which runs to the main resort areas of Pernera, Protaras, Cape Creco and Ayia Napa.) There is also a chemist, bank, local fruit market, small mini market a few bars and local tavernas and a large, modern supermarket and a beautiful church.
If you turn left a 10-15 minute walk will take you into the traditional town of Paralimni, with its 3 churches, banks, chemist, local handicraft and souvenir shops and modern boutiques, with a selection of coffee bars and local tavernas overlooking a central square and water feature.
Buses are cheap - approximately 1,20 Euros to the resorts of Protaras and Ayia Napa. Taxis are also readily available and affordable
In contrast, beautiful 'Fig Tree Bay' and the picturesque 'Cape Greco' are just a 10-15 minute car drive away; and a selection of reputedly some of the best sandy beaches on the island are just 5-10 minutes away, making this a lovely and convenient location for a relaxing family holiday; ideal for couples, friends and families of all ages.
A 24hr Bakery has just opened at the top of the road - selling cakes, pies and absolutely fabulous bread.
This apartment is a great location for a holiday or for house hunting and is available to rent throughout the year.

The Famagusta District
All year round sunshine
There are many sandy beaches and coves to visit.
Two water parks in the area, a zoo and an aquatic centre
The resort towns of Protaras and Ayia Napa are a short car drive away, or by bus. Buses are cheap - approx. 1,20 Euros. Taxis are also readily available and affordable.
South Eastern Cyprus reputedly has some of the best sandy beaches on the island. Places of interest include the Nature Reserve of Cape Greco, the 'Famagusta' viewpoint, museums and monastries
Not too far away are the Troodos Mountains where you can get away from it all all year round and of course in the Winter you can Ski
Paralimni area
There is a local Zoo to visit which also houses a little museum. There are many churches to see - even on the way to the supermarket. The local beach at Agia Trias also has its own little church.
Paralimni has three beautiful churches - there are great Tavernas and Restaurants and a good selection of coffee bars where you can idle the day or night away.
There are many boutiques with clothes to suit all ages and a good selection of shoe shops. There is even a Small Marks & Spencers in the Town Square.
How to get there
There are many Low Budget Airline Companies flying into Larnaca Airport. In the Winter months a wider selection of flights are available into Paphos Airport - I can arrange a transfer from either Airport at a very reasonable cost - this is a 24 hour service throughout the year.
Alternatively, you may prefer to hire a car at the Airport and Return the car to the Airport - therefore saving on a Transfer Fee - most Car Hire Companies can arrange for a car to greet you at either Airport - here are some examples of the Companies that provide this service:-

Further details indoors: The apartment is equipped with all appliances to a standard way above that of normal rental accommodation - the idea is to give you that "Home from Home" feel as soon as you arrive.
You will also be greeted with a Welcome Pack (included in the price) to enable you to have some much needed refreshments after your long journey. Extra items can be requested if required and paid for locally.
The apartment is serviced by a lift or stairs if you prefer.
A Management Team is located on the complex to assist with any information you may require.
Further details outdoors: The apartment is located on a Residential Complex within walking distance of the beach and supermarket (although if you prefer there is a bus from the top of the road). Protaras with its lively theme bars is a 5 minute drive and the famous Water Park at Agia Napa is 15 minutes. There is also a Heliport at Agia Napa if you would like to fly over the island.
There are many beautiful Churches in this area - well worth a visit.
This part of Cyprus has many sandy beaches and coves to explore like Nissi Beach, Cape Greco to name a few.
Although a Car is not necessary, to see all the beautiful beaches and coves in this region of Cyprus, a car would be an asset.

Conditions
To reserve dates, a reservation deposit of £100.00 (GB Pounds) will be required at the time of booking. This deposit is non refundable if the booking is cancelled by the client.
The balance of the total rental cost is to be paid a minimum of 6 weeks before occupancy commences. Late bookings, and bookings of less than one week's occupancy are to be paid in full at time of booking.
Changeover days are flexible. Check in after 3pm on day of arrival. Check out before 11am on day of departure.
Long Lets are available all year round with very special rates.
Short Lets are also available all year round.

The tariff is for one week - not per person.
The rates are based on a weekly stay although I can quote for an overnight stay, long weekend, 10 day stay, etc. Please bear in mind for stays less than one week - Cleaning and Laundry charges have to be included no matter how short the stay. Which would make the rate more than the above figures divided by 7!!
Late deals are always available - just ask me!!
If staying for longer than 3 weeks - special rates are available - you might be house hunting or having an extended holiday - again just ask me!!
There is no increase in rates for School Half Term or Summer Holidays, Easter, Christmas or New Year
LONG TERM LETS AVAILABLE (minimum 3 weeks) - £90 PER WEEK 1 NOVEMBER - End of FEBRUARY - INCLUDES ALL BILLS (ELECTRCITY, WATER AND COMMUNITY CHARGES) with the exception of mid-term linen and towels - can be laundered via separate negotiation (cheaper than paying for your central heating, etc.)
